I asked the question years back and never got a response from anyone whod done it - you first! |
Sure will do ha - serious about this - course will not be jumping into selling right away so will take time. |
I did 4 ebay accounts per paypal, never any problems or questions. Same reasons as theygotmetoo
it is a good idea, depending on your business structure, just as TGMT has ountlined in his post |
| ebayerOG | 10-21-2010 07:13 PM | i was thinkin of that but what about the recieve/withdraw limit crap wont there be abit funny with loads of doe passing through |
I think it also depends on the riskiness of items you are selling.
also if it an european paypal, you will be hit witht he money laundering limit, which I was and lifted it by faxing them my info
after that all was fine
but having said that , I do not sell any risk items at all, whasoever
also I have had the accounts since 2002 , so they are well established (less risk) , not immune mind you , just less risk
maybe newer accounts these days are more of a pain |
JEM you operate with european paypal? I would like to discuss and learn myself - we can take to PMs if you wish. |
| holymoly | 10-24-2010 06:22 PM | Not 3...why would you not spread the risk with MULTIPLE accounts?! |
| xfishx | 10-29-2010 12:25 AM | I have a Question?
Since you guys are making 4 ebay to 1 paypal do i need 4 different accounts users with different gmails? or 4 different Gmails with 1 account user.
i just bought 3 phones from walmart and i have a good relationship with my post office lady...She told me to sing up with what ever name i want as long as i write my P.O # Everything is great no I.D needed |
| xfishx | 10-29-2010 12:28 AM | i want to sign up for gmail but they keep sending me text massage to my phone i dont have a cell phone... not till walmart has them delivered there so i can pick them up.what should i do? |
| razvan4NBA | 10-30-2010 06:13 AM | ok so for 5 to 1 you need 5 different user accounts with different ips . Can you log into your paypal acc from any of the 5 ips with no pb ? or you keep 1 ip separate just for the paypal? |
| isitworththestress | 11-03-2010 04:33 PM | Do you log in over the same flash cookies or through different browsers or computer user accounts?
Also a different payment VCcard for each one or the same?
Also what about sending in ID, You send the same in to each account if you have to?
I know from personal experience that if you use the same telephone number twice on ebay it sets off the bots but I think they used to just request a card.
And finally what happens if you get the dreaded how many accounts do you have question from ebay, do you come clean and anyone know what happens when that happens? |
| ebayerOG | 11-03-2010 07:29 PM | Thats y your better to have a few extra stealths laying around for when/if they collow the 5-1 or whateva then just move on to next 5-1 |

They know how many accounts you have, thats the whole point............ |
| jbluntz | 11-04-2010 01:57 PM | You could probably have as many as you want since once you get to 8 you can remove them and add more, the most I've had is 8 though, just don't open them up all at once that'll raise flags. |

Have 8 set up now - operating ultra-slowly - will see how it goes. |
| jbluntz | 11-04-2010 03:18 PM | Those ones did get flagged but I opened those up all at once, in paypal it says you can add up to 7 more emails for a total of 8 and you can also remove them to. If you open up 1 sell on it for awhile then open up another one sell on it for awhile that doesn't seem to raise flags, you don't really need more than 2 or 3 anyway. |
| isitworththestress | 11-05-2010 06:12 AM | So it is basically the same as the old method of doing this, as this used to be the norm for most, I had accounts for selling different things.
I think that is how I will go with this one, is to open a second and start selling different items, then if they ask I just say I did not want them on my other account, as there not really what those buyers are interested in.
Then dilute gradually with the items I sell.
Has anyone in the US that is doing this have their complaints set to paypal or had any clawbacks since the first November through paypal and tell us if it had effect on the other accounts? |

I remember it took me losing 10K in data, tech, and research on my laptop to learn this hard lesson in life. (does it seem like the Gen X doesn't have the big problems we did way back? I mean come on...biggest problem, spilling coffee on our laptops...hahahhaha) | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 09:42 AM. | |
