Default multiple user question - windows 7

hi guys,

i have a few questions regarding multiple users,

i have set up another new user account however as soon as i select it automatically connects to my home network.

i am going access the internet (when using the new user account from a wireless 3g point i have purchased)

is there anyway of making sure that the new user remembers the password of only the 3g point and not my home network? (and vice versa from the current user account)

thanks,
jt

there is a setting when you first enter the password that says 'connect automatically', you must uncheck this. if it's already setup go into your wireless advanced settings, remove or delete the wireless network you setup and start from scratch, you will see the setting there

hi slim jim thanks for the advice but i just found out exactly how to do this.

just incase any one searches this is how its done :

there are 2 main steps:
step 1

1. right click on the wireless signal bar at the bottom
2. click manage wireless networks
3. click profile types
4. select Use all-user and per-user profiles
5. click save

step 2
1. right click on the wireless signal bar at the bottom
2. click manage wireless networks
3. click adapter properties
4. click sharing
5. uncheck both boxes
6. select ok

thats it! each user account will be unable to access each user accounts internet connection.

Thanks
Jt
