Default Multiple Ebay Accounts

Ok, so I just created a new ebay and paypal account, buying on my ebay acct and paypal is verified.

I want to start making backup ebay and paypal accts, at least 2 just in case the first gets suspended. So I change my IP and make another account, change ip again and make a 2nd.

My question is, how to do go back to the first IP address if I want to log into that account??? I do I just not log into it until I need to?

from my experience, it is difficult for you to get back your previous ip address if you are using a dynamic ip boardband, i suggest that you create a log file to keep all the ip address you've used and never log in with an old ip in every account, but if you insist on using old ip, you can keep restarting the route or login and logout until you get the same ip address............good luck

no reason to get suspicious - why would ebay know its YOU who logged in again if you cleaned out your cookies and use a new ip

I can get my IP back.

You have to change your Mac address, back to the IP address you want to associate with. So it's important to keep a log of all the Mac address you use, along with the IP address.

However, with my service, if I don't log into a Mac address for about a week, time warner will issue it a new ip address with no problem.

The trick with chaning you ip address is in changing the mac address in your router. Works like a charm.

Using the MAC changing technique, Time Warner releases mine if I don't use it for 6 hours. I'd like to be able to go a whole week, for the accounts I have resting. As it is, I have to refresh all the MAC IPs I've collected, or let them release and just make sure the next new IP isn't one that has already been used for a previous session with an existing account.

TW used to release them after 24 hours. But these past 2 weeks, it's been 6 hours.

Interesting, I have time Warner too.

What I've noticed is the IP address is usually associated with about 3 zip codes in my area. But within those 3 zip codes there are probably 50,000 people that have cable internet. And even if it's 10,000 people I'm not too worried. Just make sure you keep a log of which IP addresses you have used.

My spreadsheat recrods my Alias's (pretty much all variations of my name, that way it looks like a "spelling error" and my bank won't trip. I log ebay account, paypal account, feedback (if any) , and dead accounts (highlighted in red)

I dont think you have since wireless mobile broadband IP's do change each time you dial up so I think Ebay would be clued into things like this. Plus dial-up has been around since the beginning so I think Ebay would make room for anyone who logs back into their accoutn with a different IP each time. I'm certainly in that group of people and I can tell you now that I have not had a problem with it. I get a new IP each time but Ebay doesn't flinch manso don't worry.

Just use Auctiva and put up your listings form there. And if you MUST change something just try it you'll see that Ebay won't put a bouncer on the login page and turn you away.
