RIP.. How many accounts have you lost?
 

I havent been stealthing long. Had 10 and lost 2. Wondering how common is it? Any details from randoms on how many you have lost. Is 1/5 a high loss rate?

I have not lost any stealth accounts. I have lost one decade old original account.

It all depends on what you sell and how you manage your accounts. I probably lose less than 10% of my accounts, but my items are mostly low risk and I make sure items go out every single day, all emails are answered, etc.

I have had over 30 stealth accounts for about 18 months and only lost one, but it was 100% my own fault....I have lost none, due to them being stealth......

I have alot more than my fingers and toes.....I lost a handful of ebays upon listing 1st item in a bad run about 3 years ago, some I managed to restore, others failed but the paypals were still good and remain to this day, so no problem. No losses since.

I still have 95% of my accs, and alot are standing idle as I do not have time or goods to sell on all of them. My overdrive on creating backups went a bit too far....

Lost a couple of good ones due to linking after I got married and we moved in together.... We both ran stealth accounts in very high numbers.... We got drunk together that night...

It was just a simple mistake of IP tracking.... So simple... But toast none less....

Luckily I made backups.... Accounts I "play" with until they reach 500 or so feedback.... then I tend to be more careful with my listings and follow ebay protocol....

~100-120 accounts in 1.5 years. I am testing with those a lot, so I lose them :)

Wow I've lost about 30 in my life and thought that was hard to take! I haven't lost any since coming to these forums which I read everyday.

I have lost 2 accounts since May of 2013. 1 was due to a PayPal limitation from not supplying a SSN when I hit 200 items. The other was from testing the MC999 waters to see if I would actually get indefinite suspension.

So 3 years ago you reused your Paypals from those lost ebay accounts oompa and as you say they are still active, that shows how much things have changed over the years, we would not be able to do that today without getting linked

first held for 13 years
second held for 8 years

I have been on eBay since 1997 .. I've lost too many to count .... Ive always just used one and that is changing NOW!!!

no I did not re-use paypals with another ebay acc. the paypals are for off ebay use. In addition they can be used in small amounts, take money from paypals that do not have a bank account or do not have a working withdrawable bank acc.....they are invaluable.

Lost 1 real acc, 2 stealths, though these 2 were lost when I was training to do the stealth properly. In the nearest future I will probably lose more, but this is a specific of my selling tactics.

Any accounts that I get MC011'd on the first item I sell I ditch the Ebay and use Paypals for non-Ebay transactions. I have about 30 dead accounts, when one goes down I make one or two to replace.

Yes but not all of these are UK accounts. Many of them are Europe accounts which I can verify with just a card. I'm reluctant to start up UK accounts as I have to verify with a bank.

Forum was created to allow people to get back to ebay/paypal after being treated unfairly.

Should a user be running a scam, it's not wise to put that out in the open in any case.

i lost thousands accounts over the years, I came here and I kept reading and I read Aspkin Ebook. result.....let me say its been a while since I lost a single account.
My case was linking but it was not cookies, name, MAC, address, item , description, IP, picture...were not these things.
