Re: Pros and Cons of accounts based in other countries
if you find fulfillment centers/forwarders in other countries you can instantly gain access to that market via domestic shipping, and more reliable tracking. I have a fulfillment center in china, and do my own shipping in canada. my ebay accounts are based in canada but some of my items are listed in china. This came up once as a problem to ebay on a new account and i notified them that i had an organization in place overseas and they were fine with it. Now its not so easy to ship from china because only a limited amount of markets will track inbound international registered post (the cheapest b2c shipping method) to their destination (usa, canada, and australia are the most important places in my opinion who do not do this, and alas i lost allot of money last month due to this and don't ship from china to these countries due to an almost 90% lost shipment rate)
