[IP Address] Using a mobile Hot spot with a Wireless Router

Ok, So I'm using a cell phone with Mobile Tethering on to get on the internet.

When my Mobile Hot spot is active, I have my Netgear Wireless Router hooked up to it, then all my devices connected to my wireless router (mainly my laptop to operate my Stealth accounts).

In order to get a new ip address, I simply reboot the mobile hot spot (cell phone with tethering on), and it connects with a new IP address.

My question is, even though I reboot the cell phone to get a new IP address, will it still show the same IP address for my wireless router? Can I be tracked by using the same Wireless router for all the stealth accounts, even though I reboot my hotspot to create a new IP address?

The reason I have it this way is so that I can have my Wireless printer hooked up to the network without having to hard wire it to my laptop. If It wasn't for the printer, I would connect directly to the cell phone hot spot.

I have already created 2 stealth accounts this way, so I am very nervous. Please help

It sounds like you may be talking about the internal IP address of the router. which will nearly always be the same (192.168.xx.xx)

So long as your external IP shows as changed then your golden :)

Sweeeeeet!

1 more question:
Every time I reboot my hotspot, it generates a completely new IP address. Will this red flag my stealth accounts when it shows a different ip address upon Log-in, not to mention that 9/10 times its more then 100 miles away from my registered address[s]?

No, a new IP address every time you log in is not an issue.

Btw, if you have more than one account try not to cross use IPs between them. You can keep a log of the used IPs for each account.

Here you can find a useful spreadsheet for keep your logging infos:

The geolocation of the used IP is not an issue if it is in the same country. Sometime my IP is 500 miles away from where I live. Never been a problem.

The spread sheet is an awesome idea to keep track of the IPs I have used, but when I log onto each different PC user account, the files from the other spreadsheets on the other pc accounts are not there.

In other words, I can only save the spreadsheets for the IPs to the current PC username files.

3 solid options to get around that

1 - Save it on a USB stick
2 - Use google doc
3 - Use master user account that you have access to from all the other user accounts.
