Default Whats the best bank account to use ?

3 Months ago I got booted off ebay, and I have over the last 3 days started my new stealth account.
I have set up everything and even got my bank account , vcc, and paypal verified, everything is going ok and I think up to now all seems good... but I am not convinced that I will be ok, when things run too smoothly they usually end up going down hill sooner or later.

I want to make another account and I now know the procedure but I am a little confused when it comes to the bank account thing.
When using the account I have just started up, I used an old bank account which has never been linked to anything so it was ok to use I haven't used it in over a year it was an old HSBC account if this makes any difference.

My question is this ...

I hear all the time of people opening stealth accounts with multiple bank accounts. Surely people are not going to their local HSBC, BARCLAYS, NATWEST banks just to sign up for an account?

What is the best method to open up lots of accounts?

Please don't ask me to read the manual I did this already and its not the Aspkin guide its another guide I bought which skirted over the issue so hence this post.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

To keep it simple:
  • Never use previously used banks.
  • It's as simple as it sounds, you go and open a bank account.
  • Just don't go and open multiple accounts at the same time.
Whilst I won't tell you to read the stealth guide as you've insisted, the least I would ask you to do is use the search function on the forums - you will find a lot of answers revolving around the topic of UK banks. In fact I think there are more topics pertaining to UK banks than any other country.

Here's a nice thread to start with - http://www.aspkin.com/forums/uk-ebay...-accounts.html
