Default Whats the best bank?
I'm thinking of opening a new bank account, whats the best bank? I want a bank with good customer service and low charges - is that a tall order?

heard barcalys customer service aint that good is that true?

I already have an account at Natwest created 2 weeks ago and Lloyds TSB, since 2011.

will apply online also .

No real "best" bank - a lot of good ones have been listed on the forums. Searching will give them to you

Never had issues with HSBC.

I would not open more than a few accounts with different banks a year. You may be better seeing if Natwest has other accounts that you can also use.

best bank is one that leaves the doors open and the safe open and lets u help yourself!

PNC is good, friendly and helpful, never had a problem. Just don't open to many bank accounts.

You will have no problems with Barclay for mismatching names. It works a treat.

I've got a few ,barclays,halifax ,rbs ,NatWest and Santander ,no real difference I go for the free ones
