You can get holds on Paypal for any payment.

Ecrater is ok for sales, but it's a small outfit so they watch you like a hawk

The hold will depend on where you are taking payments.

Ecrater does not offer any payment methods,you specify which payments you accept.
if you accept Paypal,and Paypal decides ,if you have your own merchant account,your provider decides
