Which other 3rd party market places are worth it?
 

Hi,

I've owned my company since 2008, its customized video game gear. We've always done very well online. Here is a basic breakup of our sales:

90% Amazon
9% eBay
1% Direct Website


I'm still working on ebay and the direct sales, but you get the idea..

I know Walmart has a 3rd party marketplace, I filled out an application today and the last screen indicated I have applied there before but it will review it once again.

New Egg - I think this would be a perfect product for them.

Can't think of any othersthough?

why is your Ebay sales so low?
there are Ecrater,Bonanza,Etsy,but if they dont sell well on Ebay,I doubt you will do well on these sites.

WMT is very hard to get in,SEARS is easier,but very hard to list and it is geared toward big retailers,which i AM NOT.

tHERE is also something between AMZN and Wmt,cant recall which,if you sell on both sites and one site you ask for less,you will get a warning or something?
I think it is WMT which wil let you know it is not pleased ?

If you sell on Amazon, you can't sell the products cheaper on another site.

thanks for the information,but I thought it is the other way round,WMT is the one which complains if it find you selling cheaper on AMZN?
I dont see too many third party sellers on WMT.COM,I bought something from a WMT third party seller ONCE who also sell on EBay,but her WMT prices are lower than Ebay ,the order is more than 35 and I even get free shipping.

How many of you remember Bidville,Epier and Gold auction?
Overstock.com, when it first launched auction,I did well.
Take a look at BBY,SEaRS,they have third party sellers,also Wayfair,do they have a marketplace for third party sellers,some said it does.
Craigslist.

You can list on facebook, you will get a lot of lookie lous, but have made a nice little chunk on there.

Are you selling in these? Happeno.com, Ecrater.com, Bonanza.com, Etsy.com, Jet.com?

what about that Latin American site MERCADO or something?
I would work on AMZN and Ebay sales.
Bonanza and Ecrater .Ioffer are waste of time,take a look at Overstock.com,there used to be auction,dont know what happens now,also do you items fit BBY

I do a grand a month on ecrater during slow season, triple that during busy season.

I did well when Overstock.com came out with an auction site,I dont know if they still have one?

Poshmark last 2 months 17 sales out of 211 listings.
Offer up the last week 6 sales. Shipping on both platforms is very convenient.

MercadoLibre is pretty good. Unfortunately, it does not have the international shipping option. You could find good suppliers. I used to help a friend in the US to find items on ML. The registration process is the same as other platforms (less complicated).
