solefoodbk | 11-23-2019 09:03 PM | Listing Removed Just had a listing removed, but I immediately appealed it and got everything resolved....
Just curious if this is common? I noticed it wouldn't load in my shop and figured something might be wrong. I suppose my brand is a high risk, and I'm getting same issues with Poshmark.
I did also notice, there wasn't exactly an option to appeal it, so just curious if this has happened with others and if you were able to get the same outcome I did.
(oops, maybe if a mod could edit the title if people are interested in this topic and include Mercari, I forgot its in "other platforms" not specific to Mercari) |
slokor | 11-23-2019 09:23 PM | Re: Listing Removed Happens to lots of people dealing in high risk or branded items.
If it continues happening you should stop listing that particular item. Multiple incidents can lead to your account getting suspended, |

unkown5454 | 11-24-2019 02:46 PM | Re: Listing Removed Merc has harassed me for so many things and when I ask for help they ignore me or send a template bot response multiple times until you stop contacting them. Also received f.ake D/M/C/A takedowns from competitor and have been accused of random things like dropshipping. Merc offers no help.
Posh just threatens to take all my money if I relist things repeatedly that they don't allow. Otherwise, I have been mostly left alone. But, their customer service are dolts like any other marketplace. I just don't get harassed as much. |

I’m new to selling on these platforms and this listing removal is different than the likes of selling on eBay for example. I’ve noticed on Poshmark whenever I list something that I have to certify as authentic in the last week gets flagged. I’ve appealed 3 listings so far, successfully. I had two flagged at the same time because I listed them at the same time and working off the email, if I would of listed 3 at the same time it would of meant my account would have gotten suspended.
Have you noticed this too? I’m assuming it’s because it’s holiday season, but could be wrong. Maybe it’s just something I’m doing wrong. But I never had this issue a month ago, and would list the same brand, sometimes 10 listings at a time where I had to certify. Obviously don’t plan on doing that now |

But it could happen again and again and no human rep can do anything for you.
list something else |

list something else | Not even talking about eBay and I've never had a listing removed from an eBay bot like Mercari or Poshmark once in 6 years. |

Obviously don’t plan on doing that now | i don't sell any designer items that need authentication so i haven't had those issues. there's a bunch of consignment apps now for clothing. i've also dealt with TheRealReal who got rid of a ton of my designer stuff quick. |
agent006140 | 11-26-2019 08:55 AM | Re: Listing Removed The latest news on RealReal is that they dont really have the resources-manpower and knowhow to authenticate every item . |
alexgolden35 | 12-04-2019 11:33 AM | Re: Listing Removed eBay dont like when you sell something which cost for example 50 pounds for 15, you should consider market price, than there will be no problems even with brand and high risk items. |
