As I know - it's only for Chinese sellers. But if you technically overcome the national restrictions - it's still has barriers like seller interface, internal verification etc. I assume that it will be a good idea to hire a freelancer from Mainland for this channel. That's a good market that could be started on the forum.

make sure u can find someone who can read chinese if u wanna deal with aliexpress sellers. It might can save u alot of money

From my experience, once you are in other countries (IP matters), you will be named as a buyer.

So try to get a Chinese IP and have a try

Just out of curiosity OP, what is your line of goods?

Not asking for specifics....I'm just scratching my head wondering what kind of products you'd be offering US to US that would make you a profit and compete with Chinese sellers. :confused:

I've seen a seller on there sell shipping supplies in the us, and they shipped from the us, so my guess is yes, you can sell to us customers with aliexpress, from the us.

^^This was my thought.

But to answer OP's question I'm pretty sure USA sellers can register to sell on AliExpress now. I've seen plenty of US wholesalers selling stuff on Alibaba so the case is likely the same with Alibaba's little sister.

I did see some sellers offer BOTH China based AND US based merchandises. So I assume these sellers are Chinese and no language barrier for them. Not many non Chinese are interested or have experience in selling on aliixpress. You should sign up and see how it works

To sign up a seller account in Aliexpress, you will need to have a Limited company in China and pay for CNY5000-10000 for each category. The platform rules has been changed early this year and only allow China business account.

I agree with you. there are international sellers in AB from USA, India, Europe etc. I was also thinking of registering with AB as a seller, maybe in the future.

aliexpress is using warehouses in united states to ship some products.

That makes a LOT more sense...theres no way any American manufacturer could compete with Chinese prices.....

Yes same with eBay Chinese sellers . Will always be shipped from a port city. Sad part is they still get usps crazy cheap postage that we can't compete with
