Default Stripe Transfer Issue

Hi i sold a item and was paid thru stripe.. Got Payment on 1/23/17 Transfer date was set for 1/30/17 then it changed to the 31st then changed to the 1st an of course yesterday it changed to the 2nd whats going on am i ever gonna get paid... Has this happened to anybody else it's crazy

Is this your first payment?

I had this happen to me, and when I inquired why, Stripe claimed that I had used customer credit cards without permission and they would stop processing any further payments for me. Bizarrely, there was no mention of the customer even being refunded. They then stopped replying to any further emails, even one asking for the customer to be refunded (thankfully, I hadn't sent anything out yet).

The customer had to do a chargeback in the end. Truly awful company and I would never recommend them to anyone. They literally just blank you completely once you have a serious problem like this, despite being responsive to any emails beforehand.

Yes it's my first payment.. I have not yet got any emails from them, they just keep changing my transfer date everyday.. i have not sent the item out yet

Yep, that sounds like Stripe all right; they don't even have the decency to send you an email explaining their actions.

Send them an email asking them what they are doing but certainly don't hold your breath, and don't send out the item either. There is a high chance that the customer will end up having to do a chargeback because of these crooks.

I just might send them a email, I just wanna see if this happened to anyone else cause when i did research on it.. I read first payment held for 7 days an they may delay transfer for a few extra days to make sure there's no fraud involved.. But how long will the customer wait for his item it looks like i'm gonna rip him off so not cool

Well, it certainly happened to me. And the fact that the transfer date keep being pushed back shows that something is very wrong with your account.

Google "stripe payments review" and make sure you check out the first two links. Also check out trustpilot's page for Stripe. We are certainly not the only ones.

And if you want to see more, just Google "unauthorized" and "Stripe payments". Their "fraud prevention" methods are abysmal.

Most likely, they have even disabled the refund button in your account. Take a look...

And we thought PayPal was bad.
This is the dark side of Stripe that they hide from the masses in their pretty advertising and whatnot. What a scam.

In the early days they were good, even exceptional. Then at some point in early 2014, they became like this, but they at least refunded the customer once your account had been disabled. Too bad if you had sent the item already.

Then at some point late around early 2015, they decided it was a good idea to not even refund the customer. And this appears to be how their ****ty system operates to this day.
