I had this happen to me, and when I inquired why, Stripe claimed that I had used customer credit cards without permission and they would stop processing any further payments for me. Bizarrely, there was no mention of the customer even being refunded. They then stopped replying to any further emails, even one asking for the customer to be refunded (thankfully, I hadn't sent anything out yet).
The customer had to do a chargeback in the end. Truly awful company and I would never recommend them to anyone. They literally just blank you completely once you have a serious problem like this, despite being responsive to any emails beforehand.
