| | | djmuggs | 05-30-2008 07:39 PM | so in my payment options i have to put my CCNow email address in the paypal address fill in right?
and then when the buyer sends the payment via paypal to my ccnow address itll go in my account right? or do they HAVE to go through my invoice?. |
| ebaykilla | 06-03-2008 08:49 AM | They have to go thru the ccnow invoice after you create one in your ccnow account. I usually place that payment link when I send out an eBay invoice. You don't need to enter you email address anywhere to request a payment. |
| kevinxu | 06-03-2008 10:26 AM | will ccnow close your account if the ebay items are removed by ebay? Or the ebay account is suspended by ebay? |
| rond100 | 06-03-2008 12:38 PM | CCNow will not removed your account if you are suspended from eBay.
However because CCNOW grabs the item number from eBay...a buyer can not make payment on a pulled listed or items from a suspended account. |
| ebayhateluv | 06-03-2008 04:55 PM | HI:
1.) Ive used the same ccnow acct on approx 18 ebay accts since last yr.
2.) IN the address field--you will need SOME address for pyts,, even though you place ccnow address in there--you still must send an invoice, its not automated.
3.) If your listings get pulled, while folks trying to pay--there is a work around-pm me if this happens,,, |
| kevinxu | 06-04-2008 04:22 AM | thank you for your reply ebayhateluv,i pm you.
also what would you say in the description to make buyer not to pay directly to the paypal account you put on the listing?Thank you. |
| ebaykilla | 06-04-2008 10:54 AM | I tell them that I accept paypal payments via my ccnow merchant account only and tell them to be on the lookout for the ccnow email shortly after auction end. |
| John14789 | 06-08-2008 06:23 AM | So is there any other processor which can process paypal payments without such big fees and take less time to deposit money to your bank account? |
| ebay_hustler | 06-09-2008 10:53 PM | I was reading some info today on here & it sounded like eBay is no longer allowing CCNow to be accepted as a Merchant Acct...can anyone confirm whether or not this is true? I don't want to go to all of the hassle of getting the staement on par w/ eBay's requirements if there is no point. Please let me know!! THANK YOU!!! |
| rond100 | 06-09-2008 11:20 PM | ebay and ccnow are separate. CCNOW is just another way to accept paypal without a paypal account.
A new rule on ebay for new seller accounts please add verified paypal account. It will make this request after about listing 10 items before you can list continue to list more. |
| John14789 | 06-10-2008 05:42 AM | In the stealth book it says if your gonna sell cell phones or electronics you HAVE to accept paypal. I would like to use CCNOW to accept payments from my cell phone and electronic sales. Is there any way around this? |
| ebaykilla | 06-10-2008 11:51 AM | eGay will reject ccnow as a merchant account. They say it is not a real merchant account.CCNOw is not banned on eGay, but you will need to submit other "documents" for "proof" that you have a merchant account. Use your imagination for documents.... ;o) |
| John14789 | 06-10-2008 01:55 PM | So if im using ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info how would i submit the info to ebay? |
| ebayhateluv | 06-10-2008 08:07 PM | HI:
You have to black out with a black magic marker your own info--just send them the transaction history/the print out showing theres an actual merchant acct set up |
| John14789 | 06-11-2008 09:31 PM | So if set up ccnow with ebay I can accept paypal payments for cell phone sales? |
| ebaykilla | 06-12-2008 10:14 AM | Visit ccnow's site to see if cell phones sales are allowed. |
| trust & safety retards | 06-14-2008 08:51 PM | I am a little bit confused, If I create a CCNOW account what email address do I have to put in the 'paypal email address fill in'? Also what if my item is a 'Buy It Now' and the buyer purchases it and tries to make payment via Paypal? |
| jerkyboy1 | 06-16-2008 01:40 AM | Sending CCnow Invoice? Hi. I have done a lot of research through this section of the forum and have set up my own ccnow account and made a small sale to start the 45 day wait period. My question is I have looked all over the ccnow website and couldn't find any mention of this 45 day wait period, are you 100% sure there is a wait period?
Also, I know how to send an invoice to an eBay buyer but you must provide the buyers e-mail address to ccnow before sending an invoice. I seem to not be able to find the buyers e-mail address via eBay, where am I supposed to look for the buyers e-mail address or do I have to contact him? I assume there is a way to find it since ebayhateluv says she sends her invoice immediately following auction end. Thanks. |

I'm selling VERO items and it seems that CCNOW don't allow this. Can I get this ccnow account back? or can I use ⊗⊗⊗⊗ information to register a NEW CCNOW account? Please help, thank you. |
| aspkin | 06-17-2008 03:41 PM | You're not having much luck guangxipku... VeRO is just about a dead in with a lot of companies. Even if you did get your CCNow account back, you'll most likely lose it again. It's time to look for another merchant account. |
| jerkyboy1 | 06-17-2008 07:57 PM | Google checkout doesn't accept paypal and most people want to pay through pay pal so ccnow is a good alternative and the money is guaranteed with no worries. Also, i talked to a ccnow employee and the wait time is only 30 days after you open your account and no payment is needed to start the clock. So if I opened my account on 6/15/08 and receive a payment today 6/17/08 I would be eligible to withdraw for the first time on 7/15/08 and then every two weeks thereafter. |
| aspkin | 06-17-2008 08:42 PM | I looked in CCNow and couldn't find the 45 day hold limit either, maybe they changed it? |

| rond100 | 06-18-2008 08:07 AM | You can get the buyers email address from your email. I got to the email search the word "sold" you now can invoice all customers
The hold is in the pay out schedule. They pay out twice a month they hold one cycle and pay out two weeks later. |
| ebayhateluv | 06-18-2008 01:04 PM | HI:
Yes--they do not ADVERTISE it--
YOU have to read between the lines, then get a calendar out--
Its like the 1st payout is the 1 month anniversary of the closest date to the 15th or 30th after your very first sale has posted, and you have posted tracking info, and marked shipped...--- got it?? (I didnt)-- took me 2 weeks of emailing them, to get this---BUT--it basically boils down to 45 days--maybe 41, maybe 44--but its close... :) |
| jerkyboy1 | 06-18-2008 01:26 PM | I have received two orders since Monday and both orders have stayed in batch processing now, is the batch processing supposed to be quick or less then 24-hours? Also, after batch processing the status becomes paid correct and this is when I should ship the package because the money is guaranteed and not during batch processing? Thanks. |

Every two weeks after. So you saying that the payment schedule from the link in Account Summary under Account Balance is not correct.
I already did the whole wait thing and they did pay me a month after I did my first sale.
So your saying that if I did a sale today, June 18th. That in two weeks I'll be getting that money deposited?
The payment schedule says orders shipped between June 16th - 30th gets paid on July 16th. So If I was to ship an order today on June 18th it would really be a month wait again before I get my money. |
| rond100 | 06-18-2008 02:36 PM | CCNow places a hold on the buyers paypal account or credit card. When you mark the item to the shipped. The money is in you account. Money will build up in your account til the next billing cycle the 15th or the 30th.
CCNOW will transfer the money to your bank account at the end of the next billing cycle.
Example you take in payments on the 5th June and ship them. You will build up money til the 15th and you will receive a bank transfer after the 1st of July for all items SHIPPED as of the 15th at 5 pm central time. |
| jerkyboy1 | 06-18-2008 02:52 PM | Thanks rond100. I understand completely. I talked to a ccnow employee today and he said for new accounts the batch processing can take anywhere from 24-72 hours for the first few transactions because they need to be manually reviewed, but after that they should go through batch processing in 1-5hours.
By the way, so to find the buyers e-mail address I will look for the eBay Sold notice to my e-mail address, and then hit reply to the notice to view the recipients e-mail address? Thanks. |
| jerkyboy1 | 06-18-2008 03:47 PM | sorry for stupid questions. I'm officially an idiot, I have been using eBay for about 10 years and am a power seller and I totally forgot you can just check the eBay sold e-mail for the buyers e-mail address. Once again I'm an idiot but thanks for the help.:D |
| ebayhateluv | 06-18-2008 07:37 PM | HI, Jboy--Dont worry about it--I was in same boat till Aspkin educated me.. :)
All they taught me for 13 yrs was List and sell and list and sell-- Thats what I kept my head buried in-- no mention of ip addresses, etc...
HECK--I just learned how to use MS word last year...:) |
| ebayhateluv | 06-18-2008 08:15 PM | HI:
YES- You guys have got to get the ccnow acct set NOW--so youre ready for the Holidays..
1.) YOU CANNOT tell ebay you are accepting ccnow--theyve banned it--as to further their pp monopoly...
2.) I tell my clients--I have a REAL merchant acct-that I accept paypal through, but NO, i do not have a PERSONAL pp acct, My business acct is the same as Walmart or kmart.com//
3.) The buyers will try to run you down to day 6 or 7--but when i send that upi---90-95% pay up right away....
Youve got to get your "scripts" down pat-- know what to say /when to overcome their objections, to using something OTHER than straight pp--
they still have 100% buyer protection, the money still comes out of their pp acct-its just 1 more step--for them..
ALSO_ccnow---owned by Digital RIver Co--one of the BIGGEST software developers/on line sites,etc.. (do some research on ccnow)-- |
| fashioncode | 06-21-2008 08:52 PM | what is the total fee for using ccnow per transation? for example, buyer pay via paypal to ccnow 100 dollars, how much the seller will get finally?
1. payapl charges fee $?
2. ccnow charges fee $? |
| John14789 | 06-21-2008 09:25 PM | 4.99% of Gross Sales
plus $0.50 per transaction |
| fashioncode | 06-21-2008 10:23 PM | i think the 4.99%+0.50 is for credit card payment, and pay via paypal to CCNOW is the same 4.99%+0.5? thank you |
| atari4u | 06-22-2008 09:01 AM | Does CCNOW track your shipping after you placed a tracking number and marked it as shipped? I'm asking because they say you must ship in 5 days and I won't be able to ship out till a week and half later. I did put a tracking number down but it will not show up as shipped if they track and I did it so the pending order can go into my available funds. |
| jerkyboy1 | 06-22-2008 05:48 PM | Hi. I think I found out the hard way. I sell only internationally so I invoice my customers in their local currency. Well, I have not figured out how they are doing the exchange rate but I sent my buyer a $175AUD invoice and when he paid I only received $158.28USD and this was before CCNOW took their cut. I went to Xe.com and with the exchange rate I should have received $166.82USD. I don't know how the rates are being determined, can anybody help??? Thanks.
Should I only invoice my buyers in USD? |
| atari4u | 06-22-2008 06:37 PM | CCNOW ship question I have on my ccnow the option to not send out the auto email to notify that the item was shipped. I did placed a tracking number in the ship field to move the item into my available credit. But now my customer is telling me that he can see that the item was marked shipped on ccnow and with the tracking number. I won't be able to ship the item out till two week later from when it was marked shipped on ccnow. I did not know that they can check the status on ccnow as they are not required to sign up with ccnow to complete the invoice. Is there a way around this? |
| ebayhateluv | 06-22-2008 06:41 PM | HI:
Does your customer "KNOW" that your item will take 2 weeks to get delivered?
If theyre ok, with that wait--then I wouldnt worry about it--I'd keep it marked shipped-so that the 15 day wait for you starts today--- |
| ebayhateluv | 06-22-2008 06:56 PM | HI: I usually just round it to 5%, thats easiest for me, so-I get $95 deposited on every $100 i take in.. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 11:18 PM. | |
