What if the same guy checks the info and sees x10 different names and one
merchant account.
I know I am missing something so that is why I asked?
And besides ya'll need to laugh.

As far as I know, it is the same guy, Wally Anderson from British Columbia, who is processing merchant account applications. I've heard he's calling every applicant and ask a million questions like for how long you've been in business, your website, stuff you are going to sell etc. I would really like someone to confirm if this is true or not. If it is, then you cannot fax 10 applications for 10 eBay accounts in a short period or he will at least remember your voice. What do you guys think? Does anyone have experience with setting up a merchant account for multiple eBay accounts?

Oh great. I am going to send wally a St Patrick's Day card and thank him for
how quickly he helped. NOT.
Like I read on another post a lot of monkies employed at ebay/paypal.

Umm...I'm not sure what the guy said his name was when he called me like 3 weeks ago but I'm positive his name wasn't Wally. Also, he did not ask any questions at all. He just called and said "I'm just calling to tell u that I am updating your account to be able to accept credit cards thru your merchant account and it should be updated and able to list within 1 hr." And that was it

I have a merchant account that was linked to my suspended name and address. I assume there is no way to add this to my new account without getting caught? I see they want a copy of the statement mailed in these days. Any ideas? By the way, although ebay showed my credit card choices in my auctions, no payment by credit card would even be reflected in ebay with my old account. It would sit in pending, so it nver felt linked at all. But I did fax in my statement quite a while back, so I know they have it. I wonder if this is cross referenced for suspended users. I assume it is. thanks
