| | | | | whyebaywhy | 08-28-2008 05:04 PM | Google Checkout Bank Question So I have this buyer who is deliberately trying to rip me off. I told him payment was via Google Checkout and he accepted. I shipped item out. 7 days later he says that he hasn't received the item; even though I confirm that he has. He sends me an email telling me he's going to get his money back and keep the item and there's nothing I can do. I send this email to google but they don't seem to care or they don't believe me. So at this point in time, I want to scrap google and forget selling things online ever again. Too many risky factors like idiots like these. Now google might want me to pay or something. I originally had a bank account that I was using on that account but now I removed it and added one that I have closed. My question is, can google or anybody else take money out of the first bank account I added? Can anybody trace me back to that bank account? Are collectors going to come knocking on my door someday? Thanks for your replies. |

| SevnSins | 09-17-2008 02:36 PM | BuyItNow Buttons Hello All,
I haven't found anything regarding this, so I hope this isn't a repeated question.
I am in the process of setting up GCO with CartManager for FeeBay sales. My question is regarding the Custom BuyItNow buttons that can be created with GCO.
I am aware that we can't advertise GCO in our listings, but has anyone ever embedded GCO buttons in their auctions with any success. I'm assuming that FeeBay is watching for this, but thought I would ask.
Thanks for any help that may be provided.
Thanks,

| SevnSins | 09-19-2008 12:45 PM | Hello,
I have recently setup my CM, GCO, eBay accounts to sync together, and appears to be working for my auctions. I wanted to know if anyone knows how the BuyNow feature is processed. I assume CM still sends an invoice to their email, but does it overtake the default eBay shopping cart?
What I mean is; if a customer chooses BuyNow, does the CM window pop-up for payment, or does the default eBay window pop-up?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,

| russman | 09-27-2008 06:21 PM | How to get customer's email I have been reading the posts on google checkout where some suggest to send your ebay customers an email invoice so you don't have to use paypal. My question is how do you get the customer's email address? I assume if you send the invoice to their ebay address, ebay will catch it and suspend you.
THANKS |
| Here We Go Again | 09-27-2008 06:25 PM | When you sell a item on eBay, they will send you a item sold email.
This email is from eBay and tells you what item was sold and WHO it was sold to.
This email also contains the buyer eBay ID name and their email address.
And no eBay does not track your personal email messages. |
| russman | 09-27-2008 09:30 PM | Thanks Thanks for the help. |

PayPal is really starting to get as bad as EBAY what with its automatic account limitation policy on most new users. | Everyone should let buyers know that they accept credit/debit cards by putting it in their listing descriptions. Since all you need to do with Google Checkout is email the buyer an invoice that the buyer can use to pay with their credit/debit card. Everyone needs to do this now that Ebay has banned mail in payments. Those cods are trying to heard their cattle to Pay Pal to tighten their grip on their internet auction monopoly. |
| Jessica1458 | 10-26-2008 02:53 AM | I got one Dispute after I closed my google checkout Account. Acutally, I have 2 Google account used the same info. First account was closed by me around weeks ago, maybe one month, I don't remember, Now, I got an email from google.

I have no idea what's this, since I closed that Google Checkout Account, I am no longer able to log in and check for that order.
So, now, I am wonder, how can they charge me, the account has been closed, can they still take money from my bank account? |
| clueless | 10-27-2008 05:26 AM | Yes, they can take the money from your bank account you had on file unless you close that bank account. |
| Dragonsden | 10-29-2008 11:49 PM | Yes just close the bank account. |
Has anyone had a Google acct. Frozen for Large transactions? I've got about $4000 in there now and I'm hoping I don't have any problems getting it. |
| John14789 | 11-16-2008 05:37 PM | I never recieved any money by my GC account but I did surely sent large amounts of money through it. Google always flags large transy, atleast this happened to me frequently with large transactions. |
What will they do if the "flag" them? |
As I feared AFTER I shipped the goods, they closed the account saying "we where unable to verify information within your account" .... I'm out four grand I guess |
This is the email I got from there Any processed orders for which you have not been paid will be refunded
back to your buyer(s). If you have shipped any of these unpaid orders, I
recommend ordering a stop shipment with your preferred mail carrier. You
will not receive any future payouts through Google Checkout. |
and i indicated that they had been shipped but didn't include the tracking number (like a idiot i guess) |
| yaw1800 | 11-18-2008 12:37 PM | so wait, for google checkout, if you get paid and dont provide tracking, they cancel your account? |
I think the following sentance sums it up You will not receive any future payouts through Google Checkout.
This was their reason for account closure Please note, Google Checkout was unable to confirm details within your account. As a result, your merchant account has been closed. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 06:36 AM. | |
