| Dufus | 11-22-2016 02:09 PM | Re: limited due to suspicious activity - a recent withdrawal or payment you received How much did you withdraw? |
Re: limited due to suspicious activity - a recent withdrawal or payment you received Only 100gbp... Withdrawn way more before |
| Dufus | 11-22-2016 02:50 PM | Re: limited due to suspicious activity - a recent withdrawal or payment you received Did you received larger payments? |
Re: limited due to suspicious activity - a recent withdrawal or payment you received i haven't received anything on the account for more than a week, and no nothing substantial |
| kaykoo | 11-22-2016 04:52 PM | Re: limited due to suspicious activity - a recent withdrawal or payment you received I just had 2 accounts limited today for the same thing , cant really see where I went wrong , thankfully I will presumably get my money back in 180 days as I'd already submitted ID docs which they accepted and theres also only a total of £65 in the 2 accounts as I was withdrawing money weekly from them . I'm now completely without a paypal though and wondering whether to bother starting a new stealth or just try a 2nd stripe account instead . |

Re: limited due to suspicious activity - a recent withdrawal or payment you received update.. i received an email aroubd 8 hours later
request for additional info
we cannot restore full access until you provide info about transactions dating back to a 4 day period last month...
but when i log in and go to the resolution centre all i see is a stupid image with a tick saying they're reviewing my account. i can't provide any info...
is this a step in the right direction or am i likely going to get limited still.. i don't know what to do. |

So why don't you just call them then? It takes a few minutes for an actual human to look into your problem and giving you a proper answer instead of you being frustrated for hours and getting nowhere. |

it's obviously a glitch, rather see if i someone else has experienced this before |

it's obviously a glitch, rather see if i someone else has experienced this before | The warnings are relative - but given your circumstance BiN4RY is right to do a call and see if something can be done manually rather than just waiting. |

Another problem is I don't have access to the number used to verify anymore....
Can I call off a neutral landline? |
| BiN4RY | 11-23-2016 07:32 AM | Re: limited due to suspicious activity - a recent withdrawal or payment you received From my experiance, Paypal doesn't seem to care about your calling number.
You can always use a VOIP service or block your caller ID to be safer. |
Re: limited due to suspicious activity - a recent withdrawal or payment you received Just spoke to a nice chap on the phone and he said he can't see why they're asking for more information as everything I had submitted had being reviews and approved. I have him info about the transactions in question. He said he'd put it back in to review and make a note on the file that I have done everything needed. Said I should receive an email that o have been reinstated up to 72 hours and that he would manually check the account throughout the day...
I'm not optimistic though |
Re: limited due to suspicious activity - a recent withdrawal or payment you received So I got limited. But not like the two times I have been before, they have given me an opportunity to appeal.
Anyone had this before? Plus I haven't got the message that they'll outright be holding my funds for 180days. Just a review after 30days.
We always perform a thorough investigation before deciding to initiate the closure of an account. However, we appreciate that from time to time misunderstandings can happen. If you wish, you can appeal our decision. Just get in touch with us and let us know. You can do so by logging in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.co.uk and clicking 'Contact Us' at the bottom of any PayPal page. |
| Dufus | 11-23-2016 05:07 PM | Re: limited due to suspicious activity - a recent withdrawal or payment you received Too bad...how old was the acc? Do you think it was because of the vcc? |
Re: limited due to suspicious activity - a recent withdrawal or payment you received 6 months and no |
Re: limited due to suspicious activity - a recent withdrawal or payment you received Hello :)
I'm from Kazakhstan :) Yep Borat and etc. :deadhorse:
The same situation, get autoreply from service@intl.paypal.com.
Pretty cool this company is a mess.
They frozen 4300$ (average salary in Kazakhstan is 300$).
I called multiple times, no results, still they are reviewing documents.
How can I refund my customers?
They even disabled Refund button in Control Panel. |
Re: limited due to suspicious activity - a recent withdrawal or payment you received @xjtf did you call? |

Re: limited due to suspicious activity - a recent withdrawal or payment you received If I had to guess it seems the VCC is what flagged the account. What VCC is it? |
| bramblewill | 01-03-2017 04:16 PM | Re: limited due to suspicious activity - a recent withdrawal or payment you received My account is on hold due to suspicious activity have been asked by paypal to recieve a phone call with security code to send back to them.
I am using soho66 to route landline number to my mobile but I am bot getting the paypal call. Everybody else can call the landline and get rerouted to my mobile.
