I just wrote this email for a member that inquired with me. Maybe it will be helpful for others.

I'm assuming that you're selling items on ebay. I quit ebay a few years ago and now use my paypal accounts for something completely different. For that reason I'm probably not the best person to give you advice on ebay but I can tell you a few things that I've learned about PayPal over the years.........and over 300 accounts later.

- You have to log into PayPal from the same IP address every time. The last group of numbers of the IP address can be different but the first 3 groups must be the same. I used HMA (Hide My Ass)for years with great success because they provided this option. They pretty much suck now. Just an example.

- Card doesn't matter as long as PayPal accepts it. I've used green dots by the hundreds (which also provide a bank account for withdrawals) and now I'm using another questionable card company with no problems.

- Cookies don't matter (as much)if you log in from the same address

- The telephone number you use to set up the account is like gold. Lose access to this number and problems begin to multiply

- Always make the account a business account

- Obviously start slow and small. I always hated this idea (and needed the money) so I would open 20 ebay and 20 PayPal accounts and start slow and small in each.

- Don't waste your time with limited paypal accounts. 9 out of 10 attempts to satisfy their request will ultimately be denied. Unless its just the change security questions limitation which is easily passable.

- Think of limited accounts as a forced savings plan. You will get the money after 180 days. PayPal actually plays straight in this area.

- I started using whoer.net to check if my IP address was Blacklisted and fix my DNS leaks (not sure if this is necessary but it makes me feel good).

- I once read on this forum: "Put yourself in paypals shoes" and it changed the way I operated. They are in the business of risk and just like everyone else they dont want to lose money. They are bigtime which is an advantage and a disadvantage for us.

I could go on and on but I think you get the picture. Feel free to ask me any additional questions concerning PayPal.

My accounts are being limited (actually suspicious activity hold) because HMA **** the bed on me (I can't access the exact IP address every time) and I've lost access to my phone numbers (the cocksucker that sold me the google voice numbers has decided to change the gmail passwords on me......for some unknown reason. If I knew where the Banglaeshi mother****er lived I'd fly there tomorrow and strangle the piece of **** personally. Serenity Now).

I'm definitely not the guy to talk about ebay with. Hopefully you've read Apkins Stealth Book. If not, you need to. Gold.

What a great post with lots of common sense advise. Much of it is 100% true, esp. the part about putting yourself in Paypal's shoes. They are in the risk management business, just like a merchant bank is, if not moreso. PayPal has had decades to build and tweak their fraud algorithms, and it's second to none, for sure.

I use a mifi and I have never repeated the same IP address on multiple accounts. As long as the cookies are in place, new ip has not mattered much.

True that - I have never touched HMA or other free proxies...way too dangerous for account health

2. What is the cheap phone and phone service you use for 300 pp accounts? You keep 300 phone numbers active?

I'm not familiar with mifi but I'll check it out. I need IP addresses all over the US and if mifi can provide that I'm in. As far as the cookies go, I found that changing user accounts so many times a day was super time consuming. There is no doubt that's the better way to do it and definitely more safe.....but god damn......I was growing old waiting for the accounts to change. I guess I better upgrade this Commodore 64. <----- for all the old heads.

In my experience, the mifi will grab IPs that are in the region you are connecting from. So do you just use the same browser or use portable browsers ?
