Can't link a new Credit Card after 180 days to lift $1000 Withdrawal Limit.

What's going on? I used to be able to add a CC on a limited Paypal that didn't have a CC linked after 180 days to lift the $1000 withdrawal limit. Now it just states "request cannot be completed at this time". Btw, I'm trying to use a Vanilla Visa as I always have in the past.

Called and they just said I have to wait a month to withdrawal another $1000 even though I just waited 6 dag months to get access to my funds...

Is this something new? What's the work around?

Seems like Paypal is getting more annoying by the day. This is just getting ridiculous...

Called in and they said I have to provide my SSN to get that $1000 limit taken off... Told them that was the whole reason my account got limited in the first place. They said, I still need to provide SSN and that this isn't a new thing. Never experienced this before, ever in 5 years. What's goin on here?

So take 1000 out a month until you emptied it? Better than losing it.

I found that the old prepaid/gift cards don't seem to remove the $1000 w/d limit like they used to. I usually need to at least add bank + a quality VCC that is NOT one of the usual prepaids like Vanilla. This has only been my experience as of late.
