PayPal limited - no "PayPal Limited" email
 
Weird thing - PayPal received a payment and got limited, but no any e-mail saying it is limited, while inside it is limited and asking for docs. Does it mean anything, or just a buggy system?

It happens sometimes. All that matters is what the PP dashboard says. They're under no obligation to email or otherwise notify you.

If you logged in and it's limited, then it's limited for sure.

Those emails usually come late if you haven't gotten it yet by now

Happened for me once too. It was permanently limited.

Yea, it seems if there is no email - account is limited without a possibility to appeal. Even if it has all the forms to upload the docs - it does not matter what docs will be uploaded - they all will be rejected and account will be permanently limited. Also, certain PayPal sources say that PayPal policies require all the docs to be collected even if they already decided to limit the account permanently, that is why they ask docs in any case. But it seems the lack of the limitation letter is a clear give away.

That's not true, if you will upload good documents they will restore it.
Just documents must be good quality and everything as they request.

Time to time, I got such limitations without any email.
Only noticed that account limited once logged into account.

I just uploaded documents and account was restored..
Simple as that..

I believe you had that 20 times, so can tell for sure? :)
The only thing that is for sure, that if they want to limit you permanently, they will ask for the documents anyway as per their internal regulations. I send absolutely perfect documents and they limit. This means that they decided about the limitation based on some other things, not the docs. But in most cases, when they wanted to limit me permanently, they never informed about the limitation via email. Just went to the acc and saw standard doc request form, but it didn't matter what I send to them - still a limitation, because in some cases I ignored doc request and sent only tracking info, and boom, limited in a couple of days, and they didn't even check the ID as I didn't send it.

being limited without receiving an email from PayPal telling you this sad news is not uncommon. And from my past experience I can tell you that it is not related at to wether you will be permanently limited. I have been successful in restoring accounts that were limited but without the notification email. It could technical glitch from PayPal. I had even more interesting thing, they sometime restore my account without sending me the email " your account has been restored".

These don't happen frequently but they do occur.

And this was the most likely my mistake, documents wasn't perfect.

This happens quite regularly actually when the account is limited, you might not be aware of it until after you login.

Also, if you are going to submit ⊗⊗⊗⊗ documents to PP, make VERY sure you have your ducks in a row and have every "I" dotted, and "T" crossed. Even then, there are no guarantees.

Sometimes PP has already decided right away they never intend to restore your account and ask for the docs anyway. They then use that info to further blacklist you.

Currently I found out that if you send in docs while the tracking NOT required, and they check your docs, then mark "Photo ID" as "Completed", and send you a request for tracking - this means you will be reinstated once the tracking shows delivery. But if you send ID, and they want tracking WITHOUT marking "Photo ID" as completed - that is a bad sign.

I’ve really ****ed up I got a mate to send me 1k aud to my PayPal account for a motorbike he bought off me which he did and my
Account is now fully locked man I really
Need the money out I sold my bike and now I’m ****ed I can’t do anything man

I’d be more then happy to send u a hefty PayPal donation if you are able to help me man get back to me

What are they requesting in order to restore?

You should get your money unlocked if you do nothing in 180 days

Are they just requesting for an invoice?
