4k gone?
 

so my account back in feb got perm limited 180 days so i log out and wait...log back in 180 days later blocked from loggin in. just called today and they said its been locked and you are permanently banned. I said you cant steal my money and ive waited 180 days...the rep said they are emailing the so called "backend team" and will take up to 24hours to get a response. Has this ever happened to you that you are total screwed even after calling a rep? How can i go about this? im soos tressed...can i threaten to sue? theres 4k in the account that they are stealing.

Ive heard of such cases before. Theyre rare but they do happen.
You can threaten to sue all you want but if they figured that this is a stealth account then you cant really sue and they know it since you cannot prove ownership of the account.
Touch situation... Id try calling again and again and try to find someone who you can actually get answers from.

A friend of mine had this happen and they took the money... it wasn't a stealth account... it was a Mexican Paypal account.

#shakingmyhead - stealth is not using other real people's info...anyways, OP did what he did.

Apparently money is gone. PP are white-collar thieves. Sometimes they know that you will not be able to do anything, so they just take the money. As there are many high-loss accounts, which end up being like -10k during these 180 days, so they want to cover these losses by taking your, probably fair earned money, just because they can.

Its sad...this is happening. Yeah she said she was cool with it cause she was going to get half LOL. Anyways lets see what happens if the so called "backend" team will do anything. If they dont give me my money back I will get it back....paypal may win the battle but I always win the war.

Quite surprising Paypal are taking this approach considering the account information is real.

They must have deemed your activities as seriously high risk for them to decide they aren't giving you the money back. What were you up to?

Yes it was serious HIGH RISK. But nothing unusual from daily activity. I have accounts that have more with same activity and i can still log in....

They didn't 'steal' your money.

You agreed to give it to them if you violated their terms of service. Which you promptly did.

UPDATE: spoke with a rep (again) cause I never got the email from the "back team" and she said there is literally NOTHING they can do. She said the only thing left is to get a lawyer and send them a letter to this address:

On the one side, PP, a hundred billion $ corporation with a stable of high power attorneys and the law of the entire US Government on their side... on the other iamlmfao, a guy who leaves 4K in a PP account while selling high risk items, a stealther who wasn't using his real info...

Try calling again and see if you get lucky with a different person on the phone.

If not... consider the lawyer if it's worth the 4K.

When you said High Risk items, I'm guessing it's something super Vero like microsoft or adobe stuff. Those brands are toxic

Usually an attorney will want a 4K retainer to even consider dealing with this.
