paypal asking for photo id on new account

Is it normal for a new account? I just created it, verified email and phone number and now they are asking for a photo ID.

I used new ip from 24vc, followed their advices, new name, address, ID (made up), new phone number (legit), what could have gone wrong? I remember that when i tried to create the account, there was an error that said they could not process my request. The error didnt show up when I tried again.

It's possible the creation process is fine and you've selected a blacklisted address. Why knows?

My personal take is that if you spook the AI bots this early in the accounts life, then it's already on the radar. Bin it and start again.

The bottom line is that their security technology is progressing faster than stealthers are, this forum is clear evidence that the battle is getting much much tougher for stealthers, not just paypal but any other platform you care to name.
