Limited account - PLEASE HELP !
 
Hello,

We are a small family business that sells DIY products through PayPal, 12 days ago PayPal limited our account due to sales growth and we uploaded all the requested documents immediately. since then there is no update or any answer from them when the review will end. 12 days passed.

Because of the limitation, we can't make any payment to our supplier and all the orders are not dispatched because of that...many angry customers and disputes, store basically on HOLD.

Initially, they said that review process will take 72 hours, then someone from support told me 5 business days and every time that we contact the customer service by email they say that they forwarded our case to the limitation department and they will contact me in 24 hours - but it's not happening!

Our business really damaged because of that and we don't know what to do.. guys please help someone if you have any advice about how to contact them or any other person from PayPal that can sort this out.

I was in your situation 2 years ago Nikky. The 12 day delay is most definitely due to the current coronavirus pandemic and staff shortage. Everything is taking longer.

Fingers crossed for you, hopefully your account is restored.

I would focus on keeping in touch with every customer and explaining the situation to them. You will find customers like staying in the loop and are generally understanding.

You're treading in dangerous waters running a retail arbitrage / dropshipping business without your own funds to back it up.

Your chances with Paypal are 50/50
But leaving your orders unfulfilled is 100% guaranteed to sink both your accounts.

By the way, why are you keeping your customers waiting on circumstances outside your control?

Cancel those orders and you better make sure you're sending a most polite message to all buyers. Explain your situation and promise to email an invite to purchase when all is resolved and that you'd be happy to leave a small, free gift with their purchase. This should save you a few bad feedback.

If you survive Paypal, keep your word and include a fancy keyring with every purchase.

Part of the orders was refunded and part of them was dispatched (we have a small capital in other bank account that helped).
I'm afraid that the refund rate of our account will increase now and it will bring our account to shutdown.
We constantly contact our customers regarding this situation.

I understand that the delay in the review is because of the COVID-19, but it's also a ridiculous decision to put accounts in review mode when you know that you do not have enough staff to handle it in a reasonable time.

Any suggestions on how to contact them maybe? what should we do now?

1) What country is your Paypal in?

2) have you contacted any senior staff there?

3) What have they told you

Paypal Israel seems to be an agreement with Paypal's Singapore entity: https://www.paypal.com/il/webapps/mp...locale.x=en_IL according to the website.

I dont know my post is deleted,if you click on the link ,somewhere it said if you have received more than 100,000 once or more in consecutive 6 months,you lose your seller protection and you have to contact paypal?
and Paypal will review your account in April and october?
does it apply to certain countries or all countries?

Hello I would like to ask. I sent parcel from Czechia to Croatia without tracking number (because i sold the item for 20 gbp + 3 gbp postage) and tracked postage would be more than 10 gbp..

My question is .. paypal limited my account and asking for id receipt proof of address and tracking number.. can I send them the receipt and document with my and buyer address the document that i paid the document where is everything only not tracking number??? Thank you
