I cringe everytime I click the withdraw button... you never know what is going to trigger a limitation. I Have been burned so many times like that .. latley I have been buying things from myself (lol) just to be able to transfer money safely!

was there anything else going on that could have also contributed to you getting limited? risky payments etc ?

would it be more safe to open up two paypals (a premier/business acct) under the same name with an ebay acct link to each one and withdraw on both??

They always say that. Always start slow with a new account. Usually wait til the buyer receives the item or 5-7 days before actually withdrawing funds. Also when withdrawing take half of what is in the account out daily. 100 from 200, then 50 from 100 then withdraw the remaining. Its kinda annoying but it works. Also its best to have older accounts so make about 10 accounts and let them sit... The older the better, less security.

If your thinking 2 ebays accounts + 2 PayPal with same name, address, etc. Then its not safe. Well you can use it for some time but when an ebay accounts get suspended the other one does also. When a PayPal gets limited the other one does also. The best is to create each with diffrent name, addresses, etc. I have about 15 active accounts now and about 40 suspended accounts since last year. If you havent get the Steath Guide you should do so. If you have DSL or Cable internet then I suggest you invest in a router. I use 2 Linksys Routers which I change my ip address on the fly and switch it back to what ever account im using or if u have dial up..then u can keep using it ebay nor paypal mess with you because of your ip!

There's already threads for IP address changing.

I think most of them can be found in here: http://www.aspkin.com/forums/ebay-tracking/

When you withdraw funds from PP always leave a healthy amount in there. such as £100 or $100.

If the worst case scenario does happen and PP is permanently limited then you WILL get this money after 180 days anyway.

I would never withdraw all from PP leaving balance £0.

I trust everyone will agree with this?

each of us have different methods about what we do with paypal.
All of us will have different ideas about what balance to keep in an account.

I keep 0 balance there at all times. I did not have a problem with that. But, my accounts are older PayPals, so maybe that's why they don't make me problems. I already had to jump through all the hoops on those.

I have to agree with GreenBean on this.

I get the tracking number in there and then start withdrawing. Not massive chunks, but I am NOT going to leave a "good amount" in my Paypal account. I have the right to get my own money, and if Paypal calls me, I have tracking to prove I shipped it.

You dont even have to make a single mistake, yet get limited - it's pure cr@p the way paypal operates this way.

My money is my money and if I choose to withdraw it and in whatever amounts I choose too, I should be able to do that unhindered! Of course 'should be able to' and REALITY are 2 different things
