Paypal Limited, submitted docs, no response?

Paypal was limited about 2 weeks ago. Promptly submitted the required docs. Haven't heard a thing. It's been way over 5 business days. Is this normal?

This same exact thing has happened to me this past week - normally I get an email saying that "we have received your document for review and will get back to you within 5 business days", yet I did not receive that email and the limitation page just says "submitted for review"

probably going to be closed permanently sadly then as my friend got some creative docs i did for him said what the hell and they got accepted in 1 min. I had same scenario as you guys and account was closed

Guys, I still have a paypal account that has exceeded the 2.5k threshold in 12 months and I haven't been asked for docs yet - this must be a glitch ?

On the ones that I did submit docs they are accepted within 5 days.

I would give it another 2-3 days before I start worrying just because we are near xmas / covid etc.

If you are account is in performing very well, they will not necessary ask for docs.
I have some old accounts that have never been asked to provide any document, while I have that have been limited after few weeks only, I provided the documentation and all was good.
I have seen also some, where I provided the documentation and the accounts were banned.
Sometimes you can't understand Mr. Paypal

I do genuinely believe it depends on what you sell, how you are performing as a seller, amount of returns and open cases etc.

Paypal like Ebay use bots ,when bots cant handle a situation or the person appeals,then a clerk will look into it,it is just not possible to hire an army of clerks just to review every case,you just have to wait.
In the mean time,review Paypal,Ebay,AMZN ,Spotify,FB policies to make sure you comply

So here's the deal with PP and eBay , they usually ask for docs not to verify you, but to shut you down and make sure you can't come back.

Once an account gets limited I'd just ignore it and move on since I have multiple back up stealth accounts.

So don't sit on it. If it works out good, but don't put all your eggs in one basket

Well, in this case this request was triggered by the fact the original email address I had on the account was closed by google so I had to change the email address and phone number soon after opening so they just asked for the id documents to confirm identity.

Did you try to contact them via email/chat?.
