depends on how you deposit the check,if it were direct deposit,no teller is reading the payee name,if you take it to your bank teller,he would notice name is different.

hmm the small community banks are many in number and will still put them through - if you have good relationship with them as well

Such banks will require your passport ID for name verification
I went through this a long time ago, I have been in business with PayPal this field for over 14 years, I don't want to argue.
