when I request check,in next 8 days,I got an email from paypal

I request to my friend address and so I dont know surely he got payment or not.

Go to your paypal account & sign into it: check the transactions. Don't access thro' the email ever. See what is there

I think he doesnt want to scam me.And so I want to ask when I request check how long he takes check and widthraw money ?
