Default Paypal Limitation Department Closed

I called paypal today since my paypal account was limited. I know it was Christmas and I knew they would be closed. But, the paypal department from India told me due to the bad weather the paypal limitation department in Oklahoma would be closed until next Thursday. Gosh....such a long wait...

There's not really a limitation department..... have you tried uploading the files online? It should say what documents they need, and you can upload them automatically. I seriously doubt they're closed for a week. If the people that lift limitations take a week off, they'd probably lose A LOT of money in transaction fees. Call them tomorrow, I'm sure you'll get someone.

The day before Christmas I HELD ON THE PHONE FOR 49 minutes before someone answered. I had already uploaded my documents. The SCROOGE that I talked to obviously was NOT happy to be working and told me that no matter what I send, (even though Paypal says alternatives to SS are acceptable) that NO WAY WILL I BE ABLE TO USE PAYPAL without my SS number.

My recommendation...WAIT until Monday when those that got stuck working this weekend are over their anger.

My uncle was telling me that those ***wholes were pissed of since they had to work on Christmas eve. I'd rather wait then get someone grumpy on the phone.

That department will never close. :> I think they should either ask people for all the information before they sign up. They make interest on the money as soon as you are limited. Most companies like paypal ask for ssn when you sign up. If paypal were to do that then less people would open an account.

RIGHT!!YOU GOT THE POINT!!FULLY AGREED!!!

but this is not the way to do "banking business".History proved such business like paypal who doing worse and worse to people will finally get a dead end..Lets see how many years paypal got left.Just like those old kings there will be a replacement come out one day.
