Default Paypal Appeal Denied

Well, my paypal account got limited and I provided all the docs to them. Here is the email I got when I woke up:

For the safety and security of the PayPal network, we often review accounts
for potential risks. After reviewing your account, we have decided to close
it because of security issues.

We are making every effort to minimize any disruption to your business.

If your PayPal account balance is zero, and you have no unresolved buyer
complaints or chargebacks, your account will remain limited.

-----------------------------------
Disbursement options
-----------------------------------

Option 1. If you owe refunds to any of your buyers, you can use the money
in your PayPal account to refund them.

To refund your buyers:
1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click "Contact Us" at the bottom of any page.
3. Click "Contact Customer Service."
4. Under "Choose a Topic," select "Sending/Receiving Money."
5. Under "Choose a Subtopic," select "Refund/Cancel a Payment."
6. Click "Continue" and follow the instructions to refund payments.

Option 2. Money in your PayPal account will be held for 180 days. After 180
days, we'll email you information on how to receive your funds.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

I have over $2000 in there, is there any way that I can sweet talk them to get my money back.

Yes it is stealth, bank account was for verification only, address was some random one I used. So I'm basically screwed!

I have my legitimate checking account attached to my paypal stealth which just got the same cowdung to an extent. They haven't told me to die yet, but they are digging my grave by telling me that I have to wait 180 days for more almost $5,000. Don't they just automatically send a check or transfer to the suspended account?

I heard if you talk to them on the phone they will mail the check to anywhere you tell them. The only problem is that the check is not in my name!

Just add a bank account to the paypal account after 180 days. Works for me each time.

Yea...that is what I thought. They don't let you add a new bank account when your paypal account is limited.

open a business account in this name eg Scappy coco Ltd, and bank cheque. In Uk it doesnt cost much to make a business and it is useful for future things, the down side is that the taxman will see it. Its possible though..........

My dad already has a business which is an accounting company he opened. It is called Burning Accounting Services Inc. (an example) Would that work if I were to cash in a cheque.

Why did you keep $2000!!!! on a STEALTH paypal account is my question??
C'mon man you gotta be smarter than that. You should have knew that paypal WILL limit you and if your info is 100% ⊗⊗⊗⊗, you are screwed.

What can you do:
You should of used a family members name + address or a friends for the stealth account.

You could call paypal back after 2-3 months. Tell them you have moved to a new house, and you want your remaining funds shipped there. If they deny, keep calling them back, and hopefully a "decent" guy will pick up the phone and help you.

I have no idea what you should do about the name though.

You should of used merchant plus with authorize.net as your gateway for receiving payments. Your money goes straight to your bank account and its ebay approved!

I just remove $900 from a limited PayPal account. The rep told me if the checking account I have on the account was still active I told her I closed it and if I can add another. She said sure and I added another Bank Account to it and withdraw the money. I did that in November also with a PayPal account that had $600!

Who told you that you can't add a bank account to limited paypal account? Last time I have added bank account to the limited paypal account was in the end of december and it worked fine for me.

It was news on the fourms a little while back.

I believe it relates to the removal of the option to add a new bank account to a limited US PP account after the 180 days is up.

Jack I thought that they let you add a bank account after the 180 period. They have stopped this? Is that for the UK aswell?

The best thing to do for future reference is to keep any bank account already in Paypal for the 180 day period, not to remove it (if possible) Then after the final withdrawal is made cancel the bank account.

I realise this doent help Burnings current position. Burning are you able to update your account details and add and address to somewhere where you can receive a cheque?

Sometimes you can add / amend account details when in a limitation.

If you can add an address to receive a cheque, maybe you can delete it once you have the payment?
