I just got my PayPal account limited in AUstralia for Anti-Money Laundering policy as it has reached the amount more than 1000$ AUS.
They asked me to supply proof address and photo ID.
I have sent to them , the status on my PayPal resolution center is "completed" which means they have received everything of my documents.
all my info I sent to them are real. But until today I still can't access my account. I got 1400$ sitting there. And I also can not send the goods out due to that reason.
Is it okay if I just abandoned the account? And let customer open dispute and get their money back? ANd what they gonna do with my real info if I abandon it, will I be in big trouble here?
Thanks

Why would you abandon it?
Even if it stays limited, they'll send you a check.
It's not like you can open another account with your same info while this one is locked.
I am just don't like to wait 180days for the money, and I actually won't ship any item and just email all the buyer to open dispute and get their money back.
I will try to start new account, it is just that I have sent them my real passport info but with @@@@ proof of adddress, what do you think PayPal can do with your PassPort information if you owe them ebay fee/auctiva fee?
if you abandon the account and money is in that will cover the buyers claims. your info will just stay in paypals servers forever until paypal closes. im serious. that's what i know as of right now.
