Re: Shedding Light: Paypal Money Released After 180 Days

I had my account limited due to a charge back and multiple withdrawls of over 800 USD. I have been permently limited in Paypal with no chance of appeal.

However, after only 37 days i received an e-mail stating that I could withdraw my cash so I did immediately into my bank account on file in my Paypal account.

My account is still limited and my eBay accounts are fine but i have to use another source for payment which has killed my business.

So I have two questions really:

1. Why was my money released early?
2. Can I still attache my ebay accounts to a new bank account the way of stealth account? I have some of my ebay accounts with 1300 100% pos feedback with maxed selling limits. Can I still keep these or do I need to start fresh?

Thanks for any advice:typing:

They leave with exactly 5 billon cash after separating from eBay with ZERO debt. So to say they would have no problem handing out billions is a bit far fetched since they have 5 billion and just because it states cash, the minute that becomes cash is the minute that cash is tied to the investments to protect the cash. It just sucks thinking how much of the Paypal funds are due to freezing millions of accounts and investing other peoples money to make investors rich.

Re: Shedding Light: Paypal Money Released After 180 Days

I had 3 UK PayPal Accounts limited back in December 14 saying the usual, "you may get your money back in 180 days blah blah"

Only a few hundred pounds in each and I have got the money back from 2 in Feb and one with £37 not yet.

From my experience I had to contact them in some way after the limitation to initiate the process. I telephoned them though I have seen mentioned that its not always good to phone though I dont know why.

So my guess is that unless they think you are a risk for chargebacks or something when they review your account after a month or two you should get your money! (in the UK)

I should not think it helps hassling them as they seem to follow fixed procedures.

Thanks for your nice comment. I have withdrawn over $2500 to my RBC US funding account. I suggest ALL Canadians open up a USA funding account from RBC in order to avoid paypal's 2% conversion feeeee!

All my business is done in USD!

So the only way to get the money out is to add a bank? Can you have a check sent if need be?

slapped 06-22-2015 07:43 PM

Re: Shedding Light: Paypal Money Released After 180 Days

Sure, but the check will be in the name of the PayPal account holder, now if that is not your name or someone you know, then how do you expect to cash the check?

Add a bank account - withdraw and close the account after the set amount of time required to keep it open

What happens if I withdraw money from pp to bank account and immediately I will close pp account? I will lose money?

Re: Shedding Light: Paypal Money Released After 180 Days

that will most likely work, however you should also take the money out of your bank account as well

Re: Shedding Light: Paypal Money Released After 180 Days

I had my account terminated after 7 days of limitation due to disputes that i opened regarding purchases I made ending up being counterfeit goods. After 100% of the disputes closed in my favour I appealed against the closure and the David the irishman said i had a good point and he thinks the appeal with go in my favour. 1 hour later my appeal was declined and my account was terminated containing £2500 (mostly refunds from the disputes and £950 from my mother). I called again asking why they are holding my money. They said it would be for any further disputes or chargebacks that may occur regarding transactions in the last 6 months ( there was only 2 totalling £800 and the customers have been more than happy for some time now) so then pressured them into giving me a good reason for this and the outcome in the end was my activity on the site "did not fit their business model". Any advice on getting the money out sooner?

I just got my account permanently banned today after being with them for almost 10 years. Despite having provided them with all the requested documents but to no available, they still believe I pose a risk to Paypal community.

Hi guys, both of my accounts got limited on June 11 (exactly 180 days from today). Can I expect an email to withdraw funds precisely sometime today?
