Different paypal account will get limited once you try to withdraw - tried and tested =( Need to get rid of limit status on one - plus linking another will increases odds of bringing both down.

Don't do it.

i figure i will use a vcc to pay the ebay fees and then when the auctions are done with i will send the buyer an email to send payment to another good standing paypal account, does this sound feasible?

You can use a vcc to pay the fees but asking buyer to send payment to another paypal account will end up linking ebay and all paypal accounts. Linking = virtually automatic limitation once you try to withdraw funds =(

You're in the U.S so explore other processors of payment - paymate, moneybookers, etc.

What about using something like Cartmanager to keep a "buffer" between the ebay and new Paypal accounts? But then you'd have to have another Paypal account good for withdrawing and would probably need to cover your tracks while logging in to make the withdrawal (IP, cookies, etc.).

I'm in the same boat myself, my Paypal got limited but my ebay account is fine.

I don't know much about Cartmanager but, people correct me if I am wrong, trying to use that with an account that is NON pre-07 will require you to send in docs for proof of business with eBay....

could i make a new #### paypal account with the same information as my ebay and then switch the ebay email address to the new paypal email address? or will this raise flags and limit both accounts?

the old #### paypal account that got limited is in same name right? then the new one will be VERY open to immediate limitation when you try to withdraw the dough.

I have tried this - just to get some quick payments. The money was not needed desperately - I just wanted to save face with buyers right now for that account.

With Cartmanager can you invoice the customer manually, i.e. not through ebay at all? Like CCNOW? I thought you could but maybe I'm getting them confused.

its interesting you say that, I refunded all of my buyers over the phone with paypal and resent them invoices from another paypal account, i went from having 2000 in funds in that limited account down to 500 in a couple of days so those funds wouldnt be all tied up for 180 days, im even going to try to have buyers that received their products refunded as well and ask them to resend payment

All the best with that - buyers who have received their items, i hope they cooperate....kind of risky especially when feedback has been exchanged.
