Maybe. You never know. So two questions:

Are you willing to have the money held for 180 days?
Could you just sell locally for cash?

Thing with PayPal is there is no yes or no answers with them. Always a chance you will get limited. So if that chance is going to hurt, dont use them.....

iPhone is hot - and you know that if you're selling it. If you can, take another payment processor. Best of luck. Have you been through a limitation already? If you have, you might be stronger to deal with this huge spike and this product sale.

Nope, the paypal has never gone through a limitation before. Would it be wrong to email the buyer if he/she can just pay through google checkout?

You sold this on eBay? You really should have thought this ahead before you sold it on eBay

Actually you can email the buyer and ask him to pay anyway you want him to pay but, unless he trusts you, he might be against doing this - due to buyer protection and such, double goes for buying electronic goods.

Communication is key. Can't hurt to try. Many buyers though are not comfortable outside paypal due to risks inferred.

Haven't sold it yet. I was thinking about craigslist, but the thing is, it doesn't get as much exposure. I can try the craigslist and see how it goes, then use ebay as a back up.

Maybe offering them a refund if he/she isn't satisfied will hopefully give them some type of trust with me. Just a lot of people love paypal and it is very hard to turn away from it since so many request it.

Well these things are not hard to sell. If you live in a fair size city you should have no trouble selling it locally really. Leave PayPal out of it and they cant mess around with your money.

Even try ebay classifieds for local along with CL.

Ya craigslist is pretty useful! Just got the iphone sold for $600. Feels good to not have to pay the fees associated with it to sell on ebay.

Not only that, but the limitation with it. It would be a pain just to get that $600 out of paypal!
