Paypal re-limited acc's
Hello all,
I've been using ebay for almost 2 years now. In our country we use virtual credit cards which are connected to our debit bank accounts to avoid using real credit cards. The main pro of this type of card is that one card is only valid for one transaction offering security to buyers. However, after creating about 10 PP accounts they limited again and sent me an e-mail telling me that they do not want to to business with me anymore. I respected their decision and I am now out of ebay and PP because although I have given them all the info they wanted, they just stated that it was against their police to have so many acc's and as such they don't want to make business with me anymore.
Now the thing is, a relative of mine who does not have a broadband connection signed up for a brand new ebay acc and a brand new PP account on my computer and has been using my internet connection to make his shopping with ebay. The difference here is that although he verified a REAL (not virtual) American express credit card he used the top up option (direct transfer money to paypal account). He was able to spend about 450£ and then his account got limited. Firstly they asked for utility bill which he sent and was accepted. Then they wanted a CC monthly payment copy which he also send. In the end they asked for a photo id (he send the citizenship card) and to change the password and security questions.
So all the info was real and not ⊗⊗⊗⊗d. He didn't do anything wrong besides making 4 buys in ebay.co.uk. The process is in "review" according from paypal costumer center on the phone. Do you think they will connect my relative to me? Do you think they will lift the limitation?
It's kinda sad that they keep blocking people even though they do not constitute any kind of danger to them and have a flawless ebay feedback.
Sorry for my bad english.
Regards
