Your PayPal funds are now eligible for withdrawal
 

Alright boys and girls, today I received a nice email today saying my funds are available for withdrawal.

It's $820. I have no bank account added to it.
I rather not waste a bank account on a already perm limited PP.

My real name and address is on the account.
I would like a check mailed to me. How do I do this without calling PP?

I hate calling them, PP employees are brain dead zombies.

Any suggestions?

Exactly. I would just send the money to a verified PP for withdrawal
I managed to send over 2K before the limitation.

Well yeah, I know I can't send money out that it's limited.

I don't like calling them because they are idiots. I hate dealing with idiots, I get enough idiots on eB.

It is big amount you might want to work with them, but still they will need your ID and other verification like utility bill etc. etc. I don't know in your case there must be some point listed in your account to verify what details they want from you, if you are selling genuine things, and its part of your hard earn money than i suggest you should go for it, just try and let us know what happen next.

I had a same problem when i receive mail from paypal that amount is available for withdrawal, but when i try to withdraw they want me to verify again my Bank account and CC by sending copies of CC and blah blah blah... so i just left it and move on, i don't have enough on the account just 35$.

They put my account to limitation because one buyer has done charge back and after i resolve the matter they still hold my money for 180 days, and than all verification again.

If you can afford to loose the money than its fine, else you need to work with them to get your money back.

In my opinion most of the account once got limitation its hard to get it normal.

I have read some where that if account remain inactive for long time say 3 years or more, it will get escheatment and goes to state authority, than they will try to contact the appropriate person who is legally eligible for the money.

You can Google it and check the details.

So here is a follow up, I tried to add a bank account to be able to withdraw the funds, but when it came to the last step, I got an error message saying I can't add a bank account to a limited account. WTF...

What do they expect me to withdraw the funds to?

I sent them an email about this problem, I got an automated response in 30 seconds saying I need to call in about such a situation.

No help at all. Thanks a lot for nothing stupid PP.

Anyways, if I leave the cash in there for longer, will they just close my account and send out the check after a longer amount of time?

Details about what account you tried to add - US account? Canadian account?

CAD checking account.

Got this error: "You are currently not allowed to add a bank account because your account access has been limited."

NO they are not brain dead zombies because i called on oct 13 to withdrawl my 960$

from the restriction i had and they helped me in 5 minutes and i received my funds.

Do the pp customer service - get your web pin
call - they will ask you a couple of questions to verify your you.

once thats done say you want to withdrawl
they will ask if the cc on the account if its still active

I said yes on mine

If no, they will provide you with another way to retrieve your funds.

Why did your account went to limited? how much was your feedback score and DSR's when your a/c went to limited.?

You must have done something wrong ( like try to withdraw all of your money from your a/c or selling high risk items etc.) or your feedback score was too low.

Well unless something changed in the last 2 years. That's the last time I called PP.

Regardless, I got around my little problem by constantly emailing them. I finally got thru to some guy who removed the add a bank account limit on my account and I was able to add my checking account.

Now I have to wait a few more days, verify the bank account, and get the cash out! :lol:
