Rats to this.
I had something similar with a USA account accessed from China. (Not even using a VPN)
What country's paypal account is involved?.
So what you are saying, you got the funds release email.
Funds were deposited in a nominated bank account.
Funds then reversed from bank account back to paypal
All access to your (limited) account now gone.
Was the bank account ever used with another account?
Any reason to think the bank may have given troubles name wise & declined the transfer.
From my pov, I'm thinking some party is thinking nasty thoughts.

how could you ever let 7k in there, when my aged pro account got to 1.2k recently i **** bricks and stopped selling and lowered it down to 200ish now
if paypal is ever going to take my money, it's not going to be more than a few hundread. I never let any accounts (except this one) go above 600, once at 600 i cease sales till i can get it down a lot, and never withdraw so available balance is lower than pending

Greenbean .. the bank transfer was reversed before the bank would have every known about it. It happened in a matter of minutes. Then the paypal transaction details said "reason:account blocked"
I can still login, but I do not see the message that says "your account is limited but your funds are available for withdrawal" Nor do I see anything that says "account blocked" Have not received any emails from paypal.. and I have not yet contacted them.

Oh, is there any chance it was a phishing email?
Did the paypal account ever have the info about funds release?

Then paypal have locked it. Not for you. But to protect the money. They might just be thinking along the lines of the account got hijacked. Since it was limited, they must have gone straight to that course of action.
If you have other accounts, dont be fiddling with the bank account on them

If this is what happened,,,well then it looks to me that your account has NOT had its Limitation Lifted yet, and has NOTHING to do with the attached Bank account,,,What I would try is to call Paypal and make them Aware that the Limitation on your Account is still in Place when it should have been Realeased because it is Past the 180 day mark,,,They (Paypal) may have to do it manually,,
