Can donating to a real cause can cause your account to be limited?

just curious to find out? I have friends in Japan that i wanted to donate using either the paypal donated list or some local charity over there.

Paypal might because they are nasty.

We had a 'hold' on a payment to a recognised Charity in the UK. Fair enough, it was removed but stupid in the 1st place.

I've had no problems with other donations. I'd phone paypal & ask them:juggle:

I donated to the Japan tsunami relief to try and make my account look like a good business, and 3 days later my account was limited for various reasons.

Sure can, ANYTHING can get your account limited. It sucks, but it's true.. :typing:

Like Greenbean said, it would be smart to call and let them know you will be donating to friends in Japan.
