Exclamation Can donating to a real cause can cause your account to be limited?
just curious to find out? I have friends in Japan that i wanted to donate using either the paypal donated list or some local charity over there.

Paypal might because they are nasty.

We had a 'hold' on a payment to a recognised Charity in the UK. Fair enough, it was removed but stupid in the 1st place.

I've had no problems with other donations. I'd phone paypal & ask them

I donated to the Japan tsunami relief to try and make my account look like a good business, and 3 days later my account was limited for various reasons.

Sure can, ANYTHING can get your account limited. It sucks, but it's true..

Like Greenbean said, it would be smart to call and let them know you will be donating to friends in Japan.
