eBay Removed Limitation, but PayPal is Still Limited?
Around the beginning of May 2011 PayPal permanently banned my account and soon following eBay permanently banned my account as well. I called them probably a hundred times to sort things through but in the end eBay and PayPal both told me my account was suspended indefinitely.
Recently I paid off some money I owed PayPal and the employee at the collections department there saw my limitation and said that I should try getting it removed just for kicks and giggles. I called and the limitation department said they wouldn't remove it.
However, recently I just got an email from eBay saying my limitations were removed:
"We noticed that your selling performance has improved--that's great news! If we imposed a limit on your account, it's now been lifted, so you can now list more items.
You can start listing an item now.
Remember to check your performance in your Seller Dashboard on a regular basis to keep your account above the minimum selling standard."
Apparently my eBay limit has been removed but when I went to go check my PayPal, it was still banned.
What should I do in this situation? Should I call eBay and PayPal and talk to them both?
Is there hope or did eBay just send a mistaken email?
