Default Huntington Bank Stealth Account

Has anyone here ever tried Huntington Bank? Does it work with stealth accounts? I know most banks work but this bank seems to be easy to sign up with and I know they have free accounts. It would be a good option for me.

They have the same process as most banks. But yea they are a real bank so it would be no problem.

I think he is trying to say that if that bank will accept withdraws with mismatch names.

I have never heard of these guys but I will try them out myself. I bookmarked their web page.

You can call them at---- call us at 1-800-480-BANK (2265) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Make up some excuse to see if they accept deposits with mismatched names.

I will call them some time today or tomorrow to see if they accept.

If they accept, I will open a saving account with them. You can easily open one up online with or without underwear on.

sorry, this was one of the thread thats got deleted.

I called them, asking them some simple questions. The best question I asked the customer service rep was, If I had a business and my business partner made some deposits into the account will they accept mismatched names. The rep said "yes", they will accept it.

I have not confirmed it yet myself but I am going on the word of the customer service rep. I will try it out myself in the future but I dont want to have more bank accounts until I get more paypal and/or ebay accounts going.

Old thread but I'll respond anyways.

I doubt most banks will tell you over the phone if they will accept deposits in someone else's name.

Maybe best to open an account and do a test.

Huntington is a real bank, I had an account with them previously. Not for stealth purposes so can't offer any advice on this matter.

There are so many banks that are good for stealth that are listed in this forum I'm not sure why anyone wants to try someone else? Unless the banks location is not available then I would stick to the banks that work with Stealth.

Can anyone CONFIRM that Huntington works for stealth accounts? I'm really tempted to try it.

Give it a try, what have you got to lose? If they don't accept it, then link a new account to the paypal.

So unless you live in those states it looks like you can't open an online account.

Can't vouch for Huntington but I know Chase is easy to sign up with and they will take mismatch withdrawals AND deposits. Even wire transfers....

There's a Huntington a few blocks away from me. I used them only once on an stealth account and had no problem. The only problem I've heard about Huntington is my friend had about 1-2k in this account and they somehow lost the money so he had to go through a long process providing documents and statements.

Very weird. Bank lost customer's money?
I guess this is a very rare situation.

Happens quite a lot.

If an error gets made when deposits are made, funds could be sent to the incorrect account.
