Limited due to chargeback
So I bought an item on eBay via my PP account and it was from Canada. The shipper provide tracking with it, but it got lost in the mail. I went ahead and made a claim with PP stating that I never got the item (lost in the mail) however the delivery does show as delivered but only to "City Name, State". There's no direct proof it came to my house and I'm thinking it got lost.
Since PP denied my claim, I told my Credit Card company about it and they decided it in my favor and gave me a refund. Now 2 months later, PP is doing a "chargeback" and wants me to pay them back the difference my CC company refunded me. They say they have proof it was delivered, that proof being the "delivered status" but nothing more.
The item cost $300, neither the shipper or I had insurance on it the item. Now I really don't want to give PP $300 for an item I never received. And my account is limited until I apply the funds.
Can anyone please help me in regards to this?
