Getting a new, VERIFIED Paypal account after being permanently limited
I had a Paypal account permanently limited 6 years ago, but I need a new, verified account.
I'm NOT an eBayer, I work freelance just want to be able to receive my commission payments and transfer them immediately into my bank account.
My bank info, address, phone, IP, etc. are all completely different from 6 years ago, so none of it can be used to link me to my old PP account.
However, my name is the same and that's the problem. I had my legal name on my limited account. My name alone would be enough for Paypal to link me to my old account because I'm the only person with my name in the entire country.
I have a legit bank account and debit card I want to use for this new Paypal account, but being legit, they also have my legal name on them.
What would happen if I entered my financial details accurately into Paypal, but used a slightly different name from my own (maybe one letter off from my real name).
Would I still be able to get verified? Or would Paypal be able to see that discrepancy? Will they be able to see the names on those accounts at all? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
