| | | sunday1206 | 01-03-2013 01:56 AM | Will 200 item/20K start over to zero on 2013??? My paypal is reaching 19K and has paypal limitations that can withdrawal the funds but can no longer receive payments unless provide tax ID
I do remember at the beginning of 2012. paypal started over to zero for 200 items/20k limitation . but now 2013 alreday .. it haven't started over yet
that means ssn needs to be provided even though it's a new year?
anyone's guess if it will be reset just like last year ?
thanks! |
I cant see pp resetting their request...once you are asked to provide tax ID - that request is likely to stick until you do it... |

thanks! | Gameplan has changed this year. May not be reset of amounts.
paypal could with-hold 30 % of your gross funds if IRS requirements are not meet. That was mentioned to start this year.
Be aware of this possibility. http://www.aspkin.com/forums/paypal-...uest-help.html
read Post 11 by jeffweico in the above thread. Be careful and do not get caught by not sorting tax requirements.

| Sandy D | 01-03-2013 04:33 PM | Once they ask for it the account is toast unless you send it no matter what.
Purpose now is to be careful and spread sales over many accounts.
Many have reported getting the request as low as 5000 and less then 100 sales. REMEMBER---
The 200/20000 is just a figure.
The entire issue is this.
1. If you hit the number you will get it.
2. IF YOUR ACCOUNT SHOWS SIGNS OF THE "POTENTIAL" TO HIT IT YOU WILL GET THE REQUEST.
Spread sales like never before.
I am this year looking at shutting down accounts once I sell over 100-125 items.
Pita but dont want the hassle.
Keep track of your sales and dollar amounts on all your accounts.
Put a sheet of paper on your wall if you have to and update it so you will know exactly where you are at with each account. |
| incniu | 01-03-2013 07:46 PM | Right,
Limit 10/2K each month, 150/15k per year. Quote:

Remember we have had members get asked for the info as low as 75 items sold and 5,000 in sales. |

Monthly recurring membership site at $247 per month.
4 sales Annualized = $12,000
Now I send invoice manually vs setting up a Subscription button.
4 sales = $1,000 per month
No Annualization. ;) |

Are you saying you got the request for Tax ID with only 4 sales? |
| Roscoe | 01-04-2013 12:43 PM | That's correct.
It was 4 monthly subscriptions at $247 per month.
I called PP and said WTF is going on? CSR said the sales are Annualized ($12,000) and they assumed I'll be doing more sales.
Bye bye PP account.
I get around that now by sending invoices Manually (via PP for documention) to my customers. No problems so far. |
| HurricaneHuntr | 01-04-2013 09:47 PM | Them asking is meaningless... It's only if you 19k/200 that they limit you from receiving anymore funds, and yes i got one account that has carried over into 2013. I don't believe i have any that have reached 20k between last year and this year yet, so i don't know if that new limitation will kick in or not, i'll find out soon i guess...
I emailed them on the one account, i doubt they'll care..But the same thing last year happened and they removed the limitation banner on MANY accounts after like a month of last year. SO We'll see... |

| dreamer90 | 01-05-2013 01:00 PM | I agree with other stealth experts, SPREAD SALES. Spread sales, have multiple paypal accounts, you wont ever have to provide tax id's as we're going stealth. Once paypal asks for tax id, its over. I learnt this from one of my paypals. Now I learned my lesson. |

What do you mean "" Once paypal asks for tax id, its over."" ?????
IGNORE the tax id request and you can still use this pp AS LONG AS you don't reach 19k/200 for each year. so far so good |
