Thanks GreenBean, I guess I better start looking into Merchant Account option before its too late. But I'd need to fax Ebay stuff, and my Ebay is also in Bus. Acc name, so my merchant won't match unless they would let me have in business name merchant.

Paypal - Dont withdraw more than 500/week

About 5 days ago I verified my paypal account with a VCC and withdrew about $235, no problem. The next day I withdrew $240, no problem. On friday I withdrew $350 and the following day my paypal account had been limited. It appears that if you withdraw more that $500 within a week time frame your account gets flaged. Has anyone else had this same experience. Now $100 is stuck in my account after refunding some customers and I cant even list on ebay because there requiring a working paypal account. I hope ebay and paypal burn in hell. At least I will get the pleasure of stiffing ebay fees but I dont think I will get my $100 out of paypal; they screw me, I screw them back and it evens out. Is there any way around listing items since paypal is now required by ebay?

get a merchant account and fax them the statement and you will be able to sell again on ebay

I've had my last PayPal limitation nearly 6 months ago, I have it figured out now.

How nosy are merchant accounts. I looked into it at one point and they required quite a bit of personal information. Will my personal information be viewable to my customers or can I choose what is displayed, such as my address.

philly387 07-19-2008 01:45 PM

Merchant accounts are nosy because they don't want anyone using the accounts for fraud. They look into your history. First Data Card Services has a 98% acceptance rating and they work with many high end retail companies. I highly suggest using them.

imjustme, please do tell us your method.

moh96 07-19-2008 02:13 PM

try auctioncheckout
they are quit easy on accepting your application, and they can be integrated with ebay and send automated invoice to your buyers

jerkyboy1 07-19-2008 03:42 PM

look their is no specific method. There are some constants but everything is in relation to the properties of your accounts which some are age and other factoring things. I kind of have a Jedi sense now and know when PayPal is going to put a limit on my account before they do, i just get this feeling.

Yes, please do tell us. If it's too risky to post on public forums, then please send me a PM.

The secret is move to Japan :D Good food, lovely women and PayPal doesn't limit you (unless you really push it).

jerkyboy1 07-20-2008 03:49 PM

sounds like a deal. I heard some American items sell for a ton in japan and vice versa?

imjustme 07-20-2008 04:54 PM

To be honest, I use my own method to withdraw from PayPal. And I withdraw right now about $35,000 a month without ever having been limited or ever being asked for a single piece of ID. I'll tell you the truth, I won't tell anyone how I do it because next thing I know everybody will start doing it and PayPal will lock them all up, helping nobody anything.

Scocher how old is your ebay account, and how much feedback u got.

ebayhateluv 07-20-2008 07:07 PM

$35,000 per month and never a limit! I hate you for not telling :) I cant even withdraw $1000 per month before I get limited. I am thinking you are using a DBA and a business paypal account or paypal credit card to achieve that. Question is, does paypal required documentation on who ownes the business. Anyway my account was about 2 weeks old so the newness of the account might pose a problem. My current strategy is having multiple ebay/paypal account to reduce how much I need to pull though one paypal account, before it was one account at a time and when I finally got suspended it was like losing a gold mine and falling in the poor house. No longer! thanks to the ebay stealth ebook and this great forum.

Am I correct in assuming you're using at least 30-40 accounts at a time to achieve this?

ambercolour 07-22-2008 04:25 AM

you just gotta think out of the box, and then you can achieve what you want. I find ebay and paypal is like playing chess, you need to understand your moves and have a clear mind!

imjustme 07-22-2008 06:57 AM

I use about 10 accounts per month to withdraw. And about 4-5 of them cover the 35k. So I take out about $7000-$8000 per month per account. The other 5 accounts I withdraw small amounts totaling like $300-$500 in the entire month.

noel123ie 07-22-2008 08:21 AM

i presume you use different details on each to avoid linking?

Thanks
Noel
