| matworlde | 05-06-2013 01:31 AM | Limited account question My PayPal account has been limited about 60 days ago. I've had no claims from customers or anything and I expected to get my money back in 180 days.
PayPal has sent me an e-mail that my funds are released a couple of days ago. They told me the balance could be withdrawn to my bank account.
The account was European so I called them and asked them if I could withdraw to my credit card that was attached to the account. They told me they would review it.
After a few minutes I get this e-mail:
After reviewing your PayPal account, we’ve determined there to be excessive
risk involved and would like to begin parting ways in a manner that is
least disruptive to your business.
If there are funds in your account, the remaining account balance will be
held until you complete the appeals steps. In accordance with our User
Agreement, the money in your PayPal account balance may be held until you
provide us with a valid proof of identity and a valid proof of address. The
balance is held to cover any disputes that may be filed against your
account.
Problem is I was "creative" when my account was limited and tried to restore it right away. I've sent them ID and called them. They've denied the appeal then. Now they state that the ID was invalid. I have deleted all the info of this ID.
Is my money dead in here? I can send them anything now and they might say it's invalid anyway... I thought you needn't have sent any IDs to get your money in 180 days. It seems different. |
