A year old PP account got Permanently limited.

Hi Folks,

Basically my 1 year old PayPal acc just got Permanently limited today. And the reasons are sales of Replica Brand Name Footwear (Based on 3 PayPal disputes in the past 2 weeks).

So my concern is, all items I have been selling are all 100% authentic and legit. I hardly get disputes in the past year of large volume of selling. So in the past 2 weeks, suddenly had 3 buyers filling disputes on PayPal claiming the items are ⊗⊗⊗⊗ (They are all 100% authentic, collector's editions and were all originally purchased in authorized retailer).

But before I could of resolve the disputes, PayPal decided to limit my account, which is a completely bull ****. So is there any tips or chances that I can get it restored? I don't have proof of purchase for the 3 items, as they were all purchased very long time ago, and they are my personal collections. I would like to get some advice on this situation before I call PayPal.

Without proof of authenticity, you haven't got a chance. Even with proof, still might be a struggle.

True, this is ridiculous tho. I have done about 1000 transactions since I have opened this account, and now it's limited based on 3 disputes? Plus these disputes are not even in the buyer's favor yet.

PP and EB are jury, judge and executioners unfortunately. Without very solid proof that the items are real it is just not going to happen. Even with good evidence, still generally 50/50

Unfortunately it doesn't take much to get an account banned once the flags go up for the slightest suspicion ur account gets a Manuel review and more often than not its shut down and once closed its extremely hard to reinstate

It's a very common type of items for sale on eBay, there are a lot competitors, but I don't think any of the three buyers are my competitors.

I haven't contact pp yet, wanna get more advice from the forum b4 I get in touch with them.

It's ridiculous how they just limit the account right away. They could place reserve first.

Fair enough, but when you sell on large volume, you will always get the special few. I truly didn't sell any counterfeit, and yet these buyers opened up dispute first and then email me. Can't even protect myself.

When you sell on LARGE volume, you must spread sales over multiple accounts - keep volumes low so that when cases do come up, the risk is spread out - it's called "Risk mitigation".

From here on, dont place all sales on one account please /recommend

Multiple accounts means reducing chances of issues if one account is zapped.
