Transferring funds from Canadian Paypal to US bank?

My account was limited about 8 months ago, and I just logged onto it today to withdraw the funds. It's a Canadian Paypal account, and I'm in the U.S. The bank account linked to the Paypal account is closed, so I tried adding a new bank account (U.S.) and it would not allow me to. When I called Paypal they said that my only option was to add a Canadian bank account. WTF is going on?! Is that seriously my only option? I used to confirm Canadian Paypal accounts with U.S. bank account all the time!

GB has pointed to the right thread dealing with this issue but you are saying that you called PP up and they would not add the bank account for you? When was this? This is new issue...

Yes, I was told that towards the end of 2012, Paypal started putting a stop to adding U.S. bank accounts to Canadian bank accounts. I even spoke to a manager who told me the same thing. I told him I was a U.S. citizen and could not even open a Canadian bank account, and they straight out told me that was not their problem.

You could get a Canadian bank account if you tried.

If you can, head up to Canada and open up accounts...if not too far for you to come up.

If u use a Canada Bank, They will allow to add,
If u use a USA Bank >> Can't add

so usa bank can only add into usa paypal , can not withdraw all over the world?

For USA pp, you can only add USA bank - long been like this.
