Default Paypal Limited Forever but eBay is A-Okay

I'm sorry if this is old news but I'm really at a loss. I got a stealth account up and running since November of last year and today Paypal decided to limit my account and requested supplier contact info and tracking info. i provided it and called in and the first CSR said all looked good.

A few hours later I received an email saying my appeal was denied. I called and said I never appealed anything but just responded to the issue.

Now, Paypal says they don't want to be my service provider for sales on eBay.

My question:

Should I burn my eBay account too or try to create another one for the eBay profile?

Are there truly reliable merchant accounts I can use as an alternative (the CSR tried to tell me of a few).

What's my long-term exit strategy?

Thank you for the help

You said that this was a stealth account.

Was the merchandise that you were selling questionable?

Did you make other stealth accounts?

Time to make a few more and spread out the sales.

I would make a few more accounts and keep them prepped.

That being said, I would personally use the ebay account until I couldnt any more.

Try finding another payment form that they accept.

Sales will be slow, but for the most part, any sale is better than no sale.

But do keep in mind: That account can go down at any moment. So it would be wise not to become too dependent on it for income.

Make new accounts, yes.

You can use the eB with other payment processors such as Skrill, Propay and Paymate - that's all. Dont waste your time trying to mske new PP for this account.

Time to move on...to 5 different accounts, for example - spread

Thanks all. I refurb electronics. Have had great feedback, but high dollar amounts. A few cases, but always resolved immediately. Usually just anxious buyers jumping the gun. Payapl said they didn't like the risk.

I'll move on I guess.

Refurbs are a huge risk for disputes. I begining to see why so many of you keep getting the boot. Shody merch.

If you intend to deal with refurbished stuff, you REALLY need to make it clear to the buyer...any misleading info and you will be owned by the buyer with claims and stuff.

High Risk Category is always potential for trouble - takes a lot of experience and experimentation to understand and not to taken lightly

Sadly that category has many issues for sellers

Maybe consider mixing the items? Of course excellent descriptions and luck are needed too

Sorry for the delay in providing an update. Although I'm on thin ice, Paypal CRME unlimited my account after a lot of talking on the phone latenight and coming up with a plan to prevent cases. It was definitely a unique situation and although I'm not sure why they did it I am extremely thankful. I also didn't have to provide an SSN.

While I fully practice stealth, I definitely grow attached to some of my better accounts and I didn't want to see this one go.

Thank you all for the tips
