PP vs Chargeback for my account!
I have a real PP since 2010.
Its a strong account. I used for my website (out of eBay) mostly. When I signed up they limited me but I was surprised someone called me from PP and became by case manager to send documents and gave me his number to call him back once sent. So he actually lifted the limits BUT was holding 5% for 6 months. This hold is not removed.
Anyway, I get about 5 to 8 charge backs per year BUT PayPal always email me saying since I have a low dispute rate they release the money back to me and let me know in a few months but they always never get back to me and just credit my account back.
Monthly transaction in my account is around 50k and I always keep 10k balance left in PP.
What do you think guys? Does PP do this always or you never seen this?
Note from PP "Usually, when a buyer files a chargeback and the card issuer reverses the
charge, we temporarily hold the funds until the issue is resolved. However,
because of your low dispute rate and consistent sales volume, we're
allowing you access to the funds while we investigate the chargeback. We
want to extend this courtesy to our valued customers, because we know how
inconvenient it can be to have your funds held."
