This is a risk I would be unwilling to take under any circumstance.

I would assume this was my problem before any other problem.

This got 10 of my accounts previously banned, but that is an obvious link - no point in discussion. I bought with 10 accounts from 4 new accounts to raise feedback

I even managed to salvage 1 of them as I got to speak to a nice rep, but the most weird thing is they wanted credit card and bank statement for all accounts when I called to have them reviewed- so it is either Entropay that is screwing us up OR I may have linked the accounts by sending 2/3 payments between my many pp accounts previously

Also all 4 were selling similar product which may be the reason but most likely I think it is sending payments or entropay issue

Was also taking in large amounts of cash with all 4 accounts, strange I have many more that were not doing so well in terms of cash and none of them got banned as of yet

Only going on your description, your own activity was enough to flag the accounts.

Transfers between accounts is always risky. It creates a traceable pattern.

As for entropay, I am loathe to point the finger there. At an outside chance, maybe the origin of the entropay card. Some years back we did have issues.

Just to clarify, you made these yourself?

Not prepared to confirm this as yet.

Balance is changing as reports come in.

Sighs.

Re: 5 pp accounts permanently limited

RobMele, didn't buy anything similar, sold different items, each had 2 sales, medium amounts (£20-69), unique photos, unique descriptions (I give each of my accounts a character and write the descriptions 'in character').

I don't link back to any other account, I wouldn't even view an item I'd list on another account.

If I'm honest, I fear it was my own lazy, sleepy IP link. Either I didn't change dongle IP or I kept my WiFi on by accident alongside the dongle.

How many people have had their accounts limited on either the 15th or the 29th had a entropay vcc added?

thing with this is:

if entropay was the sole cause, then the reports would be so numerous.

No account I made in the last 6 weeks in the UK has had issues.

entropay is the card I use.

Totally agree with GB here.

Entropay itself is not the issue.

Re: 5 pp accounts permanently limited

Blueuk, I've read a lot of posters saying they used Entropay, but:
1) there aren't many UK alternatives (so most stealthers use it).
2) most users have Entropay accounts that survived as well as those that were lost.
3) PP still allows Entropay to be used to verify accounts.

I'm not saying 'it's NOT Entropay', I'm saying 'be careful of drawing conclusions from limited data'.

The question we should ask - is there anyone who got limited and DIDNT use entropay

I am confident enough that this is true to forget Entropay as a cause for the Saturday Purges.

Entropay confirms PayPal. Only a bank account can verify :thumb: Slightly different but important to not mix up the terminologies

Re: 5 pp accounts permanently limited

Jamesy, you've made the opposite mistake to me.

It is a mistake, and you're quite right to point it out.

Bank verifies
Card confirms

Re: 5 pp accounts permanently limited

I don't think my account that got hit on the 29th(I only had two at that point) had an entropay card linked, it was a bought account with a 2 or 3 year mastercard attached, which entropay don't offer do they?

I think the mistake I made was allowing paypal to withdraw from the attached bank account to pay ebay fees, this was about 3/4 weeks ago.

Maybe paypal are caching flagged accounts due to errors such as the one I made and then limiting them all on certain days, such as the 15th and the 29th.

Who knows, I'm sure we'll find out more in due course.

Re: 5 pp accounts permanently limited

Think an obvious pointer is it's very VERY easy to flag a stealth account.

What NORMAL person setting up a PayPal account is going to need or even go to any lengths to use a virtual credit card to attach to PayPal, think about it logically. There is no need for a real user to do that. As discussed with someone else on the forum, this is a major flag or marker on any account before they even start to look into whether the person behind that is legit.

Saying that, it definately isn't the sole issue

I have probably opened 20 Eb and PP accounts in the last few weeks, all of them with Entropay, a couple have gone down but nothing due to Entropay

Virtual cards are very common name, especially with online purchases, in the States there have been so many data breaches it's encouraged to use a virtual credit card

Even the paypal MasterCard has an option where your able to create as many virtual credit cards as you like

Also I have at least 50 paypal accounts with Entropay and no issues
